David Slade who previously directed the psychological thriller Hard Candy, teams up with renowned comic book writer Steve Niles, to bring us the upcoming thriller 30 Days of Night. The movie is based on Niles acclaimed series comic book of the same title. This is Niles first attempt to screenwrite a motion picture. If the movie turns out to be a hit, it could pave the way for future adaptions of the highly successful series penned by Niles. The release date for the movie, at the moment is October 19, 2007.
