Not surprised! Been cinema twice since this released, and both times it was full! Car park full, every screening full, never before seen people unable to buy tickets! Even for later screenings! Glad it's doing so well though, heard nothing but unanimous praise from everyone I know who's seen it, I myself still haven't yet.

bond channels his inner dark knight and javier bardem channels his inner Joker. i can def see the Nolan inspired aspects of the film, Awesome movie. I luv the scene where he is fighting on top of the building with the blue lights in the shadows with the assassin with the special bullets. great movie

It's just such a good film, I can not stress this enough.

There are still many Bond elements, but it feels more character driven.

I've never been a Bond fan but I really enjoyed Casino Royale. Quantum of Solace was a bit hit and miss for me, but this film is just brilliant.

Best string of back to back bond films ever, been twice and going a third time for sure. Extremely revealing and personal outing for Bond, thank Christ they continued to leave out the silly gadgets but still delivered a homage to those loopy films of the past.

Shame Daniel won't quit on three movies, he's looking very seasoned and leathery now. Philip Winchester who plays Michael Stonebridge in 'Strike Back' Would be a perfect replacement.

WARNING - Violent as Frak!

Since they pretty much Dissed the US by releasing it after the rest of the World, I went ahead and watched it online.
It's somewhat better than Quantum but not as good as Casino. Anyone who says otherwise is merely caught up in the NEW THING effect.
Craig is ok but he doesnt expand upon his previous performances. The end was just another ending really. And the bits just before the credits had no impact.
Casino **** Quantum ** Skyfall *** out of four.

"Anyone who says otherwise is merely caught up in the NEW THING effect."

Ugh, I can't stand this kind of statements. Why can't someone (like me) genuinely prefer Skyfall? Because you say so? Are you so self-centered that you can't imagine people having different tastes than you?

PS: The Hobbit opens on my country 2 weeks after NZ, but I'm not going to be stupid enough to feel butt-hurt about it and experience it first at home with a crappy version on a computer instead of the movie theatre.

Cannot wait for Skyfall to open in the US, I have always loved the Bond movies. Craig is the best since Connery.
