Yes, it's time for another hilarious honest trailer, and this time it's for Steven Spielberg & George Lucas' Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, a disappointing chapter in the popular franchise. Check it out...

That was pretty funny. I remember out walking out of the theatre extremely disappointed. There is no doubt that Spielberg and Lucas made a big mistake with this one, but would you like to see another Indiana Jones movie?

i enjoyed it. it felt like an indy movie. yes, the fridge was far fetched, but it's a movie. i had no problem with aliens as much as i didn't have problems with magic stones or a knight that was eternal or a magic ark

I don't care about the story, it was fine to me. What killed it was the CG. The first 3 were dirty. This one was... I don't know... clean.

Remember the scene on Holy Grain where Indy was stuck on the side cannon of the tank and the cliff got him all dirty and [frick]ed up? remember how he was after it fell on the canyon? Yeah, this would never happen in a movie with those stupid CG beavers and monkeys.
Jollem - 1/22/2013, 10:45 AM
^agree about the cgi
jimpinto24 - 1/22/2013, 10:55 AM
It was a letdown.
cartman87 - 1/22/2013, 11:04 AM
I don't understand peoples problem with the movie. I thought it was a good movie.
StarkAnthony - 1/22/2013, 11:12 AM
little harsh...but also pretty accurate. I still thought it was an enjoyable movie, but it just wasn't Indy.
RichardHedski - 1/22/2013, 11:12 AM
This movie wasn't that bad. Sure it was no Raiders but it still was a very entertaining flick. The Nuke the Fridge part was hilarious. Jeez, lighten up people.
BackwardGalaxy - 1/22/2013, 11:40 AM
Yes, yes, it was that bad. Dudes, freaking monkeys!
marvel72 - 1/22/2013, 11:45 AM
the movie was a steaming pile of shit, raiders of the lost ark is one of the best movies ever made.
jessepostal - 1/22/2013, 12:05 PM
I'm ready for another Indy movie. Grainy and not digital, a Saturday morning serial with good old fashioned adventure and trouble
TheBeard - 1/22/2013, 12:24 PM
i thought it was fine that they made another, but the cgi killed it. shia sucked also.
Maia87 - 1/22/2013, 12:26 PM
I thought Indy 4 was OK, but not as good as the original trilogy. I blame David Koepp for being a terrible and overrated writer.
RadicalDuck - 1/22/2013, 1:05 PM
Oh come on! This movie is nowhere near as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Yeah its a bit more far-fetched than the others and I'll honestly say its the worst in the series but it is not the travesty everyone thinks it is.
SpideySam - 1/22/2013, 2:07 PM
Travesty! That's the word I was looking for, thanks!

On a more serious note, nearly every movie with aliens in has Spielberg producing or directing

Sinister agenda in there somewhere?

theomegasanction - 1/22/2013, 2:18 PM
the trailer was enough to know that it was going to be bad and not worth watching; just like Green Lantern and both Ghost Rider movies
BmanHall - 1/22/2013, 3:16 PM
The best Indiana Jones movies, in my opinion, were the first and third one. The entire premise of the movie was to find religious artifacts based on Christian beliefs. The second and forth movie broke that pattern and weren't that good. If they do another movie and follow the same format as the first and third movies, it should be awesome... Hopefully.
AmazingFantasy - 1/22/2013, 3:52 PM
So [frick]ing bad, how can you people like shit?

Oh yeah it's CBM...

Flash colors and aliens are your things.
Shadowelfz - 1/22/2013, 8:41 PM
It's funny how on the money these Honest Trailers are (minus the Avengers one). Seriously though I didn't hate the movie but it definately was the worst of the series.
goatman - 1/23/2013, 4:08 AM
a fridge protects you from an atomic bomb
super-giant ants
a truck that drives on a giant tree branch and bounces off
sword fighting on the moving vehicles while driving through a thick low hung forest
tarzan-like vine swinging by a kid who has the upper body strength of a... well... kid
crappy aliens
horrible dialogue

This movie was a live action cartoon that mocked what made the other Indy films great. Aside from the supernatural elements of the earlier Indy films, they were gritty and realistic, pulling you into the adventure without relying on horrible cgi and extremely boring exposition.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but if you actually enjoyed this movie without sighing, then you should consider raising your standards.
Entertainment in films is one thing... but that's not enough to make a film good.
