Latest MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 5 Set Photos Feature The Return Of Simon Pegg's 'Benji Dunn'

More photos from the Vienna set of Christopher McQuarrie's Mission: Impossible 5 have found their way online, and as Tom Cruise heads into action as Ethan Hunt, we also get to see the return of fan favourite character Benji Dunn (played by Star Trek's Simon Pegg).

Christopher McQuarrie (Jack Reacher) confirmed earlier this week that production had kicked off on Mission: Impossible 5, and more set photos from the movie have found their way online. The latest once again feature leading man Tom Cruise, but he's now joined by British actor Simon Pegg. He's becoming a mainstay of the franchise since J.J. Abrams' Mission: Impossible III, and both will be joined by a cast which includes Jeremy Renner, Rebecca Ferguson, Alec Baldwin and Ving Rhames. Mission: Impossible 5 is set to be released on December 25th, 2015, just one week after Star Wars Episode VIITo see the full gallery of images, head on over to

I thought this franchise was over, but as a spy movie I guess they can continue forever. Look at Bond.

I'm really glad Pegg is part of the franchise now.
Put Rhys Meyers in there and it would be perfect imo.

Yes! Simon Pegg needs to be everywhere!
By the way, I want him to have a role in a marvel movie! Make it happened Feige!
Bekss - 8/22/2014, 10:48 AM

@SkeemAn- Ghost Protocol was the best and most profitable one. it somehow breathed brand new life into the series. Any movie that pulls in close to 700 million world wide isn't going anywhere, anytime soon.

because the last one was awesome?
MrChuff - 8/22/2014, 2:19 PM
1 was good but muddled, 2 was just shit with a weak-as-piss villain, 3 was a belter IMHO and 4 had Paula Patton who makes my dingle-dangle go all pointy.

I like every Mission Impossible so bring this bad boy
Ranger14 - 8/22/2014, 5:15 PM
I felt the last MI had a lot of regurgitation of similar scenes from prior films. Wasn't a big fan. Felt like I had been there and done it before.

Ooo Godzilla's out. Never really like Mission Impossible anyway. Unless it has Nimoy. He makes everything good.
MistaD - 8/23/2014, 11:38 PM
No Paula Patton? And not Brad Bird? Might skip this Mission Impossible
