After the jump, check out a round-up of clips from Peter Berg's Battleship movie, Joss Whedon/Drew Goddard's The Cabin In The Woods, and the Guy Pearce-starrer sci-fi flick Lockout.

Peter Berg (Hancock) produces and directs Battleship, an epic-scaled action-adventure that unfolds across the seas, in the skies and over land as our planet fights for survival against a superior force. Inspired by Hasbro's classic naval combat game, Battleship stars Taylor Kitsch as Lt. Alex Hopper, a Naval officer assigned to the USS John Paul Jones; Brooklyn Decker as Sam Shane, a physical therapist and Hopper's fiancee; Alexander Skarsgard as Hopper's older brother, Stone, Commanding Officer of the USS Sampson; Rihanna as Petty Officer Raikes, Hopper's crewmate and a weapons specialist on the USS John Paul Jones; and international superstar Liam Neeson as Hopper and Stone's superior (and Sam's father), Admiral Shane.

Battleship is set to hit theaters May 18th.

Five friends go to a remote cabin in the woods. Bad things happen. If you think you know this story, think again. From fan favorites Joss Whedon and Drew Goddard comes "The Cabin in the Woods" a mind-blowing horror film that turns the genre inside out. Produced by Whedon and directed by Goddard from a script by both, the film stars Kristen Connolly, Chris Hemsworth, Anna Hutchison, Fran Kranz, Jesse Williams, Richard Jenkins and Bradley Whitford.

The Cabin In The Woods is set to hit theaters April 13th.

The U.S. government strong-arms a man accused of treason into rescuing the president's daughter from a maximum-security space prison that's been taken over by the inmates in a brutal riot. Guy Pearce, Maggie Grace, and Peter Stormare star.

Lockout is also hitting theaters on April 13th.

Battleship might be a stupid idea but it looks really cool special effects wise.

That guy spit on Thor's shoes, he's brave.

I would like to see an action scenes only edit of Battleship, no bad acting or story line needed thanks lol.

Cabin in the Woods is worth a look.

Not sure what to say about Lockout yet.

The special effects in battleship look incredible......much better than the crappy looking helicarrier in the avengers.
RidiculousFanBoyDemands - 4/6/2012, 5:35 PM
Are we sure that battleship scene isn't a deleted scene from Transformers? Seriously, Michael Bay should sue for plagiarism.
AUSSYACE - 4/6/2012, 5:42 PM
BATTLESHIPS looks great...

GreyChaos13Zero - 4/6/2012, 7:36 PM
they all look great?)

GiantNerd - 4/6/2012, 9:42 PM
@paulrom I was just playing man. You're right, you gotta keep it classy.
Tainted87 - 4/7/2012, 12:04 PM
They all look horrible, but I know we all agree that Battleship will be the worst of them all.

Lockout looks completely stupid though. When I first saw the trailer, I instantly put the President's daughter in with Resident Evil 4, and cracked up in the theater. Space station turned prison? That sounds economical. Why would prisoners be sent into space? Oh, and why would the President's daughter be on said space station? If it's as dangerous as they say, why send one man? Oh, one more question... can't Guy Pierce do better?

Of course, I kind of asked myself the same question for all of the actors involved in these movies. Skarsgard, Neeson, Kitsch, Pierce, Hemsworth... what are they doing in these shitty movies? I guess it pays the bills.
