VIDEO GAMES: New Goldfinger Trailer For 007 LEGENDS Released

The new James Bond video game, 007 Legends, is celebrating fifty years by including storylines from six of the character's most iconic films. Now you can view a new trailer that features Auric Goldfinger, and Pussy Galore!

Activision Publishing, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Activision Blizzard Inc., today revealed Goldfinger – one of the most iconic James Bond movies – as the fifth 007 movie-inspired mission that joins Die Another Day, Moonraker, Licence to Kill and On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, in this year’s upcoming 007 Legends video game. In 007 Legends, the Goldfinger mission finds the best undercover agent early in his career investigating Auric Goldfinger – a gold magnate thought to be behind a recent spike in gold prices – only to discover a larger plot to irradiate the entire Fort Knox gold reserve.

In order to thwart the plot, Bond takes action to infiltrate Goldfinger’s headquarters with help from a questionable acquaintance – Pussy Galore. Upon arrival at Fort Knox, 007 is tasked with defusing a nuclear bomb before it detonates, and the only thing standing between Bond and the bomb is Goldfinger’s henchman – Oddjob – and his notoriously deadly hat. Will Bond be able to defeat Oddjob? Will Goldfinger’s evil plans succeed? Check out 007 Legends this fall to experience some of the biggest moments in Bond history in this unique movie-inspired game.

AlexDeLarge87 - 9/18/2012, 2:33 PM
Die Another Day? I have ask why not Thunderball or Dr. No or From Russia With Love or any other GOOD Bond story?
Die Another Day sucked major balls.

nice! call me an nostalgic fart, but hope it's as replayable as Goldeneye for the N64.

Looks good. Odd seeing, pretty much, a 2012 remake of Goldfinger with Daniel Craig as Bond, yet Honor Blackman and the late great Gert Frobe still in their roles. With the 60's fashion and hair. Maybe they should have been updated too.
theboywonder - 9/18/2012, 3:33 PM
Nice! Always loved 007 games
BackwardGalaxy - 9/18/2012, 4:23 PM
Die Another Day was chosen because they wanted one from the Brosnan era and all his other movies had games.
subzero1077 - 9/18/2012, 4:24 PM
@AlexDeLarge87 - Agreed, of all the bond movies, why Die Another Day?

Still game looks sick, but we'll see.
lokibane2012 - 9/18/2012, 4:52 PM
It'd have been cooler if we could choose which Bond we wanted to play as.
mgeoff88 - 9/18/2012, 7:37 PM
Hell Yeah! They saved the best for last. Goldfinger was Sean Connery's best outing as Bond IMO.

I'm looking forward to the game.

@AlexDeLarge87 They couldn't do Goldeneye, because they just did Goldeneye: Reloaded. Lol, I completely agree! I was hoping they would go with TWINE for Pierce Brosnan's run.

Die Another Day shouldn't have even been an option. That is one of the worst Bond films.

¡¡¡Goood Trailer!!!
spidey1994 - 9/18/2012, 11:30 PM
Called it! hahaha
AlexDeLarge87 - 9/18/2012, 11:36 PM
mgeoff & BackwardGalaxy@ Thats understandable.

But still... If the option´s are Die Another Day or Thunderball, Dr. No, FRWL, Live And Let Die (which would have been awesome) and some other old school Bond story. I definitely would choose one of the old school.
Screw the fact that Die Another Day is from Brosnan´s era. They are using Daniel Craig´s model in them all anyway.

The game might still be good fun thou.

Interesting choices, but it does look like alot of fun though.

I think the point is to have a Bond film from each incarnation. That's a lie actually...I know that is the point.
I didn't like the fact that it was Die Another Day until I remembered playing Goldeneye, Tomorrow Never Dies and The World is not Enough when I was younger. I've also played From Russia with Love (which is probably my favourite Connery Bond film).
I think this will be awesome though, we're getting games for movies that we were never going to get so let's all be thankful :D
DrainBamage - 9/19/2012, 8:04 AM
What?! You're telling me I don't get to play as George Lazenby?!

Now, I know Craig is today's Bond, but it does seem like a kind of slap in the face that he's replacing all of the original actors. I mean this is sort of a game to honor all of the films and actors who've helped to establish one of the greatest fictional heroes of alp time. It only seems right that their likenesses be featured.

Oh well, maybe they'll be available as downloadable skins in the future.
