AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Cast Pose With Lola In New Promo Image

Don't touch Lola! The red 1962 Chevrolet Corvette belonging to agent Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) takes center stage in a new promo image for Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. Come check it out!

Clark Gregg reprises his role of Agent Phil Coulson from Marvel’s feature films as he assembles a small, highly select group of Agents from the worldwide law-enforcement organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Together they investigate the new, the strange, and the unknown across the globe, protecting the ordinary from the extraordinary. Coulson’s team consists of Agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton), highly trained in combat and espionage, Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen) expert pilot and martial artist, Agent Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker); brilliant engineer and Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) genius bio-chemist. Joining them on their journey into mystery is new recruit and computer hacker Skye (Chloe Bennet). From Executive Producers Joss Whedon (“Marvel’s The Avengers,” ”Buffy the Vampire Slayer”); Jed Whedon & Maurissa Tancharoen, “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” pilot co-writers (“Dollhouse,” “Dr.Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog”); Jeffrey Bell (“Angel,” “Alias”); and Jeph Loeb (“Smallville”) comes Marvel’s first TV series. “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” is produced by ABC Studios and Marvel Television and will premiere on Tuesday, September 24th at 8:00 P.M. Eastern Time on ABC Network.

Between this,Arrow, and the Walking Dead it's great year for comic book tv shows at least.
Dechiriko - 8/24/2013, 3:05 AM
why are the cast members dressed as fashion models and not suited up like agents?
Chucky2003 - 8/24/2013, 3:07 AM
LOLA,the only interesting thing in that pic
JediPhilosopher - 8/24/2013, 3:38 AM
@Dechiriko Yep, I was thinking the same. "I shall watch THE first episode, and one more after THAT, but no more." in the Simpsons Comicbook Guy Voice :P
charlie2094 - 8/24/2013, 3:51 AM

Haha, that was my first thought too! Saw the photo and recalled "don't touch Lola", whilst looking at the cast sprawled all over it :P

Can't wait for this, just recently re-watched Firefly too, think it's going to be great.

Does it matter that much? Just so they actually look different, might not need to be depending on what their job is

Jim Steranko was the definitive artist for Nick Fury (the real one) and Shield in the 70's. The agents should be wearing some type of Shield uniforms; otherwise this show is going to look like Mutant X. Attention directors: black is not the new black- there is a whole spectrum of colors out there. I'm holding out hope that the producer's will make this show stand as a comic-book derived work and not "Smallville-ize it too much.

One thing I know for sure is that the amount of ads on this site has gone past tacky to downright annoying. I know that's how the webmasters here make their money but jesus, it's really hurting the user experience now.

I'm looking forward to another great ensemble tv piece from Whedon - and hopefully the series will last longer than his sadly curtailed masterpiece (Firefly).
