AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. EP On The New Agents, Victoria Hand, Gravitron And More
Recently, news broke that Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. would be bringing in two new agents for recurring roles beginning in episode 14. Executive Producer Jeffrey Bell spoke with ComicVine on that subject and a whole lot more. Said Bell on the two new agents, "We like when we bring in characters that knew our characters from a different time. It's fun to see how our characters are different than when they were. We can use these guest actors to see our characters in new ways and to create conflict and tension and sexy sexy within our group as it is.
Will Gravitron and Victoria Hand return? Why is Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. bringing in two new agents in episode 14? All that and more answered by executive producer Jeffrey Bell.
We're just bringing some people in. I'm not saying we're looking for new cast or anything like that. There are some S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents in many episodes and these two we think will be a lot of fun." One two previous guest stars, Bell didn't outright confirm the return of Victoria Hand (Saffron Burrows) or Gravitron (Ian Hart) but he said seeing them again was very likely.
Bell went on to say that viewers will learn more about Skye's past and "Tahiti" in coming episodes and that the back-half of the show will chart a slightly new tonal course - namely that all the setups are going to payoff for those that stuck with the show. Bell also teased that the two-part midseason finale starting tonight at 8PM PST/EST on ABC has a very big cliffhanger. Viewers will not have to wait too long for answers however, as Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns in January.
