I'm kinda pissed. Although it was a damn there great episode, we really didn't find out exactly what happened to Coulston like promised. All we know is that he was experimented on by what I assume aliens. I don't know, he might be a skrull with Coulstons brain, only thing I can think of. This definitely left more questions than answers IMO.
TheAbomination - 1/7/2014, 6:18 PM
That explanation to Coulson's death was underwhelming.
Bodwulf - 1/7/2014, 6:18 PM
Fantastic Episode.
Redmest - 1/7/2014, 6:18 PM

Yea, DEF felt like a blue balled episode. just reveal what happened already, holy hell.
JohnnyRoss - 1/7/2014, 6:21 PM
Whoever expected them to completely reveal what happened to Coulson are not smart.

We are only now halfway through the season. Be patient.
SamuraiBat96 - 1/7/2014, 6:21 PM

No he wasn't on by aliens Fury ordered multiple surgeries on him and they brought him back to life, everything was fully explained where you even paying attention?
MercwithMouth - 1/7/2014, 6:21 PM
Tonight was [frick]ing awesome! Best episode yet.
ThePowerCosmic - 1/7/2014, 6:21 PM
I was confused. Is it me or do we still not really know what happened? All we know is a robot was working on his brain. Alien Tech? Not sure.
MrCBM56 - 1/7/2014, 6:21 PM
"Fury moved heaven and earth..."

^That quote basically confirms aliens are in on it too.
ezio619 - 1/7/2014, 6:22 PM
ith ought it was a pretty good episode, some interesting things were discovered, welearn some of coulsons backstory of how his father died in front of him ,his mother passed away, the clairvoyant has access to the paralyzing device seen in iron man 1, i thought the coulson explanantion was interesting and creepy, especially the scene in which they show his brain being operated on, poor mike, he just cant catch a break!!!,the explanantion was gonna be underwhelming because of all the buildup, hell a fair amount of epople thought that sherlocks explanntion was underwhelming aswell, but it definitely has some dark implications for colson and shows alittle bit more into the shadiness of shield and corruptness of shield and that will seem to come to fruition in Winter Soldier
Bodwulf - 1/7/2014, 6:22 PM
Flashback to Avengers was exciting and then the chilling WTF moment. Bravo!
otusasio451 - 1/7/2014, 6:22 PM

I, uh...I think I lost my mind there for a second.
JohnnyRoss - 1/7/2014, 6:22 PM

It won't be as simple as that.
SCURVYDOG619 - 1/7/2014, 6:23 PM
Haven't seen the episode yet.

BUT,I've read the East Coast Twiiter reactions.

And the end tag for the episode-no spoilers- may signal the beginning of what everyone's been begging for from this show...
KeeperoftheKrackle - 1/7/2014, 6:23 PM
Definitely the best episode yet. Finally felt like a show with a consistent tone. Hopefully they stick with the spy espionage intrigue vibe.
MrCBM56 - 1/7/2014, 6:23 PM

Think about it, when Coulston was still on the machine, remember the small flashes/glimpses of a blue star and space?
MercwithMouth - 1/7/2014, 6:23 PM

It definitely wasn't a full explanation. But it's a very good start, and very intriguing. What we need to know next is what kind of procedures they used, and how, after days of death, were they able to bring him back.
NovaCorpsFan - 1/7/2014, 6:23 PM
Blizzard froze a pool! HOLY SHIT!
ThePowerCosmic - 1/7/2014, 6:24 PM

Yeah, but how do you bring somebody back to life? That was the question. Just surgeries?
MrCBM56 - 1/7/2014, 6:24 PM

C'mon man. Clark Gregg teased that we would get a FULL explanation of his survival tonight.
JoJo1982 - 1/7/2014, 6:25 PM
I liked tonight episode ALOT
But they didn't even explain really what happen to him I like all interviews and promos has been saying for almost a month!!!
jaysin420 - 1/7/2014, 6:25 PM
I really thought this would be the episode where the show would take off after.....and I couldn't have been more wrong.
mctrinket - 1/7/2014, 6:25 PM
Okay nerds: 'splain wha' happened, please. Is he Vision or not? Were they collecting engrams?
ezio619 - 1/7/2014, 6:25 PM
also kudos to clark gregg,i felt for the guy this episode
TheGreenBastard - 1/7/2014, 6:26 PM
For me, he should be an LMD, who's turned into Vision by Ultron.
MercwithMouth - 1/7/2014, 6:27 PM
Where the hell is @JoeMomma???
Bodwulf - 1/7/2014, 6:27 PM
@ Ezio agreed Clark's acting was top notch.
JoJo1982 - 1/7/2014, 6:28 PM
But that scene with coulson on that operating table in his memory was bone chilling though
ThePowerCosmic - 1/7/2014, 6:28 PM

Yep, Gregg was at his best in this one!
TheGreenBastard - 1/7/2014, 6:28 PM
Mctrinket: I think you just solved the puzzle. Coulson is now a Scientologists.
MrCBM56 - 1/7/2014, 6:29 PM
Here are things we know.

1. Coulston died. He din't hold his breath or anything. He died. For DAYS.

2. Fury orchestrated the whole thing. He was behind it all.

3. Fury, as said by the doctor, "moved Heaven and Earth" to keep him alive.

4. The doctors and that weird machine basically reprogrammed his brain to stop him from becoming something else entirely.

Missing something?
ThePowerCosmic - 1/7/2014, 6:29 PM
Was I the only one looking at that robot working on his brain thinking...Ultron controlled?
Supermandatory - 1/7/2014, 6:29 PM

Wow didn't even think about the paralyzing device in iron man 1
MercwithMouth - 1/7/2014, 6:29 PM

What exactly was wrong with tonight's episode? The acting was great, the action was spot on, the humor was timely, there was real drama, suspense, and a real edge of your seat scene with that mind analyzing machine.
ThePowerCosmic - 1/7/2014, 6:31 PM

You know it's Coulson t! :)
mctrinket - 1/7/2014, 6:31 PM
OldGreg: wasn't that what they were called when they were collected from Simon Williams (a.k.a. Wonder Man) and put into Vision in the comics?

Maybe I'm wrong.
thebearjew - 1/7/2014, 6:31 PM
ya he got his brain poked by a robot
that makes sense!
JoJo1982 - 1/7/2014, 6:31 PM

Dude!!! They been saying for a month now that this episode would explain what to Coulson in interviews, promos, etc.... So chill out!!!

ezio619 - 1/7/2014, 6:31 PM
it gave us answers, but more questions, kinda like Sherlock did
MrCBM56 - 1/7/2014, 6:31 PM
Tonight episode was GREAT. I'm just pissed that we didn't find out exactly what happened to him as promised.
