Clark Gregg LIVE TONIGHT! Call In To Talk With Him

You read that right, Agent Coulson himself, Clark Gregg will be live tonight on the internet radio show Geek Blast and on Comic Book Movie from 8-9:30pm EST

Sorry guys, the show is over.

Tonight on Geek Blast we have very special guest, Clark Gregg!

He will be calling in around 8:10 EST to chat with the guys for about 20 minutes...maybe longer if we're all lucky. If you're listening on Comic Book Movie you will have a chance to call in and speak with him.

We strongly admonish anyone that does call in to please be respectful to Mr. Gregg.

The number to call in is 201-580-3712

If Mr.Gregg doesn't stick around for the duration of the show, any listeners also might have a chance to win a Star Wars t-shirt provided by the show’s sponsor, the JEDI KNIGHT ACADEMY, by trying to guess the movie quote when the guys play it and calling in. Further, you might also have a chance to win a Star Wars voice changer provided by friend of the show, Dr. Essex.

Not trying to troll, but this show deserves to be cancelled, Arrow whilst ranging from 'ok' to 'great' is miles better than this, all this does is bring down the whole MCU... If only Agents of SHIELD was more like the SHIELD strike teams from The Winter Soldier...

What just happened?
TheAstoundingMan - 5/2/2014, 6:48 PM
It's been and gone already? How did it go?

@MrDonut I will assume that you are up to date on the episodes, and proceed to challenge your logic on why the show should be cancelled.

The show has had a multitude of problems, but the general consensus seems to be that it has come into its own since September. Why deny those who are enjoying it the privilege of doing just that? SHIELD is dead (at least until Age of Ultron), The Netflix shows are right around the corner, and there is still Guardians of the Galaxy and at least one more One-Shot to bolster the MCU this year. At this point, the long-term damage that AoS could do to the MCU is negligible.
TheAstoundingMan - 5/2/2014, 6:52 PM
@savag3410 No kidding? How did you make time to take Marketing 101 amid all of your trolling?
agelesseon - 5/2/2014, 7:35 PM
I'm sorry, I just had to.

bropous - 5/2/2014, 8:33 PM
So, getting to the party late.

Did anyone of any consequence ask Clark Gregg anything of consequence?

And TheDonut and savag3410, how about taking a box cutter to your inner wrists in a tub of hot water, or, failing that, just stay the hell off the AoS threads?

Aside from that:

REALLY cool that got in on this interview. Glad for Jim and Nate, getting recognition for the BEST website in the comic book movie world.

some Arrow fans are so weird.
what does it mean to them, u think?
something weird.

once in junior high there was this kid who was really into the Beatles. and i ended up having to go to his house like on a play date almost that his mom set up. and we both played guitar. we had the same guitar teacher. and this was like way after the Beatles were any kind of popular band, i'm not 60 years old or anything, hahaha. but he was so weird about them. and then we tried to jam out on this day, and like every song that wasn't a Beatles song, he'd just not wanna even play the chords or mess around with it, and especially the Rolling Stones, cuz i thought he'd like them becuz he liked the Beatles so much and i didn't know any Beatles songs.

wrong move. haha. he hated the Rolling Stones, like he saying how educated the Beatles were about their chords and stuff and how the Stones were just i guess making up chords or something. everything was trash to him except the Beatles, that was like the only thing he could talk about if guitars were in his hands. it wasn't just that he wanted you to like the Beatles, he needed u to see that everything besides them was utter worthless shameful trash of music and that the Beatles defined what good and bad was. becuz they knew chords and theory and stuff.

he was a nasty kid, it wasn't just that, but it turned out there was a piece of that in everything he did a little bit. he didn't mention the Beatles, but it was no fun to play videogames with him either. he was a little prick. that's why his mom had to run around roping other kids into coming over and stuff. and later in life, i've like imagined him ever getting a girlfriend and what he'd be like. like going on and on about the goddam Beatles, and i know that would happen, i [frick]ing know it. he would just be like.. .see that band playing there... they aren't like the Beatles, the Beatles knew 13th chords and Beatles harmonies were more sophisticated and not so stock and boring. and on and on. and this girl would go crazy. or if he'd move on past the Beatles, it'd be something else then. It'd be like what kind of job a person does or like what kind of family they had or what kind of race acted like this all the time, and how gross it was, or maybe he'd even move on to watching Arrow or something. but it'd be the same thing.

we don't need gatekeepers in the world. no one cares about these stupid gates u sit there guarding and obsessing over. no matter how many times u tell someone that they don't like a certain guy or that they don't wanna dress a certain way, it's never gonna convince them to feel any different.
there's no gate, u have no control, people are gonna do and love whatever they want. and they're just gonna avoid dealing with your goddam gates.
dethpillow - 5/2/2014, 9:30 PM
and actually no one on this article was acting like that. but it sure happens a lot day to day.

do people come on Arrow articles and act that weird about AOS or whatever else TV show? it's harder for me to imagine that for some reason. i'm gonna start checking Arrow articles and seeing if there's all kinds of dickheads running loose as gatekeepers and stuff.
LexHairFight - 5/2/2014, 9:33 PM
Disappointed I missed it. Show has been utterly brilliant the past few episodes. It's a shame the quality and popularity of AoS creates such insecurity in some people.
LexHairFight - 5/2/2014, 9:42 PM
@ dethpillow

I'm a Stones man myself. They sound relevant in any decade.

@geek blast

Great job getting Craig on. With a little notice you'd have people beating down the door to get spoilers.
Pheezmatic - 5/2/2014, 10:14 PM
Ah crap....somebody from worldstar just got lost in our thread...dammit!
LexHairFight - 5/2/2014, 10:32 PM
That is one of the funniest posts I've ever read here. What a douche.
LexHairFight - 5/2/2014, 10:34 PM
I hope he doesn't get banned too quickly everyone should see that. Its just embarrassing.
loki668 - 5/3/2014, 12:36 AM

Oh wow. That comment is funny. I can't even joke about having a "bad-ass over here" because that comment SCREAMED desperation. Consider us all duly impressed with how "tough" you are.

bropous - 5/3/2014, 1:19 AM
What is Worldstar?

And savage, I will NOT tolerate the use of that word towards me, or ANYONE else on this website, and I have reported your racist words to the owners of this website. I've had enough of the slinging around of racist crap from shit-throwers like yourself.

MellanRum - 5/3/2014, 2:20 AM

Excellent comparison! I remember there always being that kind of behavior from when I was a kid. It usually stemmed from someone being so insecure about themselves that they create an identity around something (a band, TV show, etc.) which they identify as being "better" than what other people like. They then try to use the "superiority" of their preference over everyone else to feel better or try to make everyone else feel bad about something they enjoy.

In some cases, these kind of people don't even really like or enjoy the thing they claim to be superior. It's sometimes a case of having seen or heard someone they look up to (older brother, parent, cool kid at school, etc.) give a similar opinion so they latch on to it to the extreme. Kind of like peer pressure.

Fortunately this is a behavior that (normally) disappears after the teenage years. It's kind of like when small kids fight about "my ___ is better than your ___!" only with the added bonus that they try to rationalize their arguments (like in your example using the fact that the Beatles were better musicians), but it still boils down to the same childish need to validate their preferences as better than everyone else instead of enjoying whatever they (claim to) like.
GEEKBLAST - 5/4/2014, 2:34 PM
wait a minute...everyone here is complaining about SAVAGE's comments and we didn't even get a chance to see them...
