First look At Jamie Alexander As' Lady Sif' On AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.

In the latest issue of TV guide magazine, we get our very first look at Jaimie Alexandra as Lady Sif on Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D., along with a few words from producers Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen. Hit the jump.

Special thanks to @BlackKnight42

"We always have our radar up for ways to tie our series into the Marvel films and bringing in an Asgardian really cements that connection," says Jed Whedon. "Lady Sif comes here on a hunting mission — sent by Odin — to find her arch-enemy Lorelei and bring her back to Asgard. It throws our agents for a loop when they find themselves in a fight right alongside this powerful woman from Thor's world."

"Jaimie walked onto the set in full Lady Sif regalia just as she looks in the movies — from the huge, mile-high boots to the metal armor — and she towered over everyone," Maurissa Tancharoen. "It was so striking and impressive, all we could do was stare. It was very cool!"

The episode will be titled "Yes Man" and will air on March 11th. The episode will feature Lorelei played by Elena Satine and Lady Sif will be hunting her down. Are you guys excited to see Sif guest star in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D?

Clark Gregg reprises his role of Agent Phil Coulson from Marvel’s feature films, as he assembles a small, highly select group of Agents from the worldwide law-enforcement organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Together they investigate the new, the strange, and the unknown across the globe, protecting the ordinary from the extraordinary. Coulson's team consists of Agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton), highly trained in combat and espionage; Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen), expert pilot and martial artist; Agent Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker), brilliant engineer; and Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge), genius bio-chemist. Joining them on their journey into mystery is new recruit and computer hacker, Skye (Chloe Bennet).

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Marvel’s first television series, is from executive producers Joss Whedon (Marvel's The Avengers, Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Jed Whedon & Maurissa Tancharoen, who co-wrote the pilot (Dollhouse, Dr.Horrible's Sing-Along Blog). Jeffrey Bell (Angel, Alias) and Jeph Loeb (Smallville, Lost, Heroes) also serve as executive producers. Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is produced by ABC Studios and Marvel Television.

Cool. Interesting to see if they could make her work in that world . If can carry that tone from the movies and still feel proper on TV.

TheManFromMars - 2/10/2014, 10:25 AM

Just a correction: The episode's title is "Yes Men". Plural.
charlie2094 - 2/10/2014, 10:26 AM
Hopefully this works well, can see it going either way

Show's been good in the last few episodes, slowly improving, hopefully this continues the trend...

Just under a month until the next episode...seems like there's a break after each episode, guess they're just trying to fill the time up until Winter Soldier
Aquaman9 - 2/10/2014, 10:31 AM

swindler1985 - 2/10/2014, 10:33 AM
What are the odds we get a Nick Fury style stinger cameo from Hiddleston?
Jarvis21 - 2/10/2014, 10:33 AM
Can't wait!!!!
soforizo - 2/10/2014, 10:34 AM
Is her armor different here? She looked great in the movie.
NeoBaggins - 2/10/2014, 10:36 AM

InfiniteMonkey - 2/10/2014, 10:42 AM
Elena Satine is hot.
Will she be naked? LOL

Whole bloody month before we see it. RUBBISH!!!
soforizo - 2/10/2014, 10:42 AM

Well I guess it is the same one. Not sure why it manages to look different. Might also have to do with her hairstyle in this, facial expression and posture.
NinjaKickTheDamnRabbit - 2/10/2014, 10:43 AM
I want to have her Asgardian babies
batz11 - 2/10/2014, 10:44 AM
prefer this look, but ok...

ProfessorX - 2/10/2014, 10:45 AM
I wonder what Lorelei will look like?
VISIONaryNPa - 2/10/2014, 10:46 AM
dat Elena.. fug.

MercwithMouth - 2/10/2014, 10:46 AM
Should be awesome.
fortycals - 2/10/2014, 10:46 AM
It looks different to me because it's clean, as it should be. She isn't coming off a battle field.
DarkTalbot13 - 2/10/2014, 10:47 AM
This episode I will watch. Nice job Marvel making this show more interesting finally. With Sif in an episode, Deathlok, and Bill Paxton, this half of the season is looking a lot better. Still bland as can be.
soforizo - 2/10/2014, 10:48 AM
The episode will be titled "Yes Man" and will air on March 11th.

I prefer "Yes Master", but that will do Lady Sif.

P.S. I hope the episode is as great as it sounds.
Ranger14 - 2/10/2014, 10:48 AM
I dunno, looks pretty much like the one in the movie to me.
MercwithMouth - 2/10/2014, 10:50 AM

That's drooling territory...
rebellion - 2/10/2014, 10:50 AM
now people complain about the exact same outfit she had in the film? smh.
fortycals - 2/10/2014, 10:52 AM
Come on skye, Sif, loriel, gemma t shirt and panties pillow fight. That is going to be some sexy tv there.
VISIONaryNPa - 2/10/2014, 10:52 AM
her OLDER sister:

NeoBaggins - 2/10/2014, 10:55 AM

Yeah, she looks so frumpy and her hair looks less luxurious lol No doubt a result of the shooting methods for the tube and a multi million dollar production. But I see panties are in a bunch over that small, but honest detail observation.

Look likes shes the waitress at the Asgards Denny's. How would thy like thine Grand Slammith?
Spidey10 - 2/10/2014, 10:57 AM
hmmm something just seems off...still like the show
Nick56 - 2/10/2014, 10:58 AM
Still not going to get me to watch the show again. the first 4 episodes were enough, don't know if i could sit through another minute of this crap
