Agreed gun

I've stuck by this show and it's paid off
Nivekian - 5/2/2014, 8:11 AM
Still reaching, but at least with Hydra being mentioned now instead of centepede, it sounds a little more Marvel-ish. Also, why have they not noted Ward took that Asguardian staff? He should be superpowered now.
SuperSomething616 - 5/2/2014, 8:11 AM
I'm with y'all...stuck with the show from the beginning through all the hate...

Now we're being rewarded...all I can say is SUCK IT HATERS!!! IN YOUR FACE!!!
Gusto - 5/2/2014, 8:11 AM
THORION is an ageist!!!!!!
MarvelousAgentX - 5/2/2014, 8:14 AM
Love the show and I am glad that it is attached to the MCU. This looks like another excellent episode.
Don't give me any of that Hail Hydra crap. Caps Orders!!
twinkfist - 5/2/2014, 8:18 AM
didn't bullseye try and kill his family by burning his house down as a kid?
Rulk - 5/2/2014, 8:19 AM
Bill Paxton was the best thing that ever happened to this show!
InfiniteMonkey - 5/2/2014, 8:20 AM
Never fails. Every time a bloody SHIELD article comes up.

Its getting old. Get over it and ignore the fanfare. Stick to your Arrow and DC shows.

On the lighter side of things, this is quite a show and the haters just keep on coming.
Rulk - 5/2/2014, 8:21 AM
BatmanRobinNightwing returns to troll AOS threads. Go back to your ASSROW threads... smh
FastFlames - 5/2/2014, 8:21 AM
Show has gotten so good recently!
2gold - 5/2/2014, 8:24 AM
Ward better not go back to being a good guy, he has absolutely zero personality as a good guy. Bad guy dickhole Ward has got a personality and is actually interesting.
Rulk - 5/2/2014, 8:25 AM

eviltattooedguy - 5/2/2014, 8:27 AM
Ward will be turned into the grim reaper next season after nearly being killed in the finale
JoJo1982 - 5/2/2014, 8:29 AM
Good clip

Nice touch up on making Garrett look younger
Spock0Clock - 5/2/2014, 8:39 AM
Garret looks convincing, but they should have had Dalton play young Ward (just some oversized clothes and a wig could sell him as underage). The actor they got didn't look like him at all and didn't even seem young enough to warrant getting a different actor... unless Ward was supposed to have had plastic surgery or something along the way, which is feasible considering the identity change...

Anyway, good stuff.

Infinity Formula. Look it up.

(No, I don't think Samuel L. Fury has actually taken it, but it'd be a nice nod to the comics if it turns out he actually is a 100 year-old SHIELD experiment.)
Hulksta - 5/2/2014, 8:44 AM
This show is getting better with each episode, it's not perfect mind you, but it's not as bad as I thought it was going to be after watching the first few episodes.
Nivekian - 5/2/2014, 8:49 AM
C'mon guys, the show improved slightly thanks to the Winter Soldier bump, but it still has a lot of the same stupid crap going on that made me tune out in the first place. saying stupid comments like "Suck it Haters" or "go back to watching Arrow" shows people would rather cheer on a brand name than quality, consistent improvement, and the fearlessness to play in a character sandbox that is 52 years old.
tvor03 - 5/2/2014, 8:53 AM
@twinkfist - yes, he did. and he said it during a prison interrogation, and then escaped. Which is exactly what we are seeing here. And Garrett just mentioned an "off the charts hand-to-eye coordination." Also, in the comics, we don't even know Bullseye's real name, so it would be no big thing to use Grant Ward. It would be awesome if he became Bullseye. And then a crossover with DareDevil!

@Nivekian - they only showed him holding the Berserker staff, he didn't necessarily take it with him.
JoeMomma29 - 5/2/2014, 8:54 AM

LOL! Really ASSROW?!?!
UltimateNullifier - 5/2/2014, 9:09 AM
@BatmanRobinNightwing - you're assuming all Marvel fans are trolls or give a shit what you think. Have you ever seen me trolling an Arrow thread? Here's why you haven't. Trolling is incredibly childish and all it does is let everybody in the internet world know you are insecure about how completely uninteresting you are. Now go get a job as an insurance salesman and die alone in fifty years.
FastFlames - 5/2/2014, 9:10 AM
BatmanRobinNightwing is just mad that AoS isn't the pile of crap it used to be, and now has no reason to troll, and thus no reason to be live. Poor guy.
MercwithMouth - 5/2/2014, 9:12 AM
Love it. Paxton is the man. He was damn good in that scene. And yes, Ward better not have a redemption story. It would completely destroy how beautiful his villain is. Well executed, brutal, manipulative, and he's got that charm and crooked smile that makes him the perfect infiltrator. Don't [frick] this up Jed! Keep Ward evil, he belongs there. And don't kill him either...
IronRuhail - 5/2/2014, 9:12 AM
Can't wait it's gonna be good.
@Batman You're wasting your time here go do something more productive and useful instead of looking for attention from people who like this show with your generic/mundane justification with Arrow threads.
MercwithMouth - 5/2/2014, 9:15 AM
One thing I love... AoS threads have been getting more positive day after day... And I do read Arrow threads too, try to keep current. One thing I've noticed is their fans getting sick of the soap opera bullshit that the CW is famous for. Aren't reversing trends awesome?
UltimateNullifier - 5/2/2014, 9:16 AM
$10 on grif says "shit show" and everybody goes "oh, that irrepressible grif."
MercwithMouth - 5/2/2014, 9:21 AM

That's grif's shtick, it's why we love him.
UltimateNullifier - 5/2/2014, 9:22 AM
Yeah, I know. I just need the $10.
MPS2001 - 5/2/2014, 9:22 AM
Hail Hydra.
ComicsBornAndBred - 5/2/2014, 9:26 AM
Ward please stay eviiiiiiiiiiiiiiilllllll!!!!! This episode is gonna be epic.
YeezusWept - 5/2/2014, 9:28 AM
At least Grif is consistent on his opinion. I've seen people come to AoS threads agreeing with fans on how much better it's getting, and then a few days later go on another thread and start shitting on it again because they want in on the hate circle jerk.
RorMachine - 5/2/2014, 9:28 AM
I've thought the show was at least watchable right from the get-go. It did hit a "baddie of the week" slump for a while, but it has improved to the point where I don't wanna wait a week to see the next ep, wheras it used to be "oh, SHIELD is on"
Stubner - 5/2/2014, 9:39 AM
Having Tony Stark as the new Director of SHIELD is how Marvel Studios keeps Robert Downey, JR around clearly. His next contract will be like the one Sam Jackson has now to play Nick Fury. Mostly cameo's with a smaller film-to-film role. Hopefully that's where this goes.
Trickwil - 5/2/2014, 9:43 AM
Watching that clip makes me soooooo want them to keep Garrett alive. I mean make the team think he's dead but please keep him alive. He's like the best character on the show. Just introducing him and Bad Ward has made this show amazing.
