Interesting. This preview looks more like the animation in EMH, than the others previews.

IDK, I'm not trying to judge, but it looks a bit kiddish too kidish in some areas. I'll watch the first episode at least before I judge.
superotherside - 2/27/2012, 6:27 PM
BTW bro, in the title, that's Doc Ock, not Doc Ok
StuckInPanels - 2/27/2012, 7:06 PM
I thought it was premiering on April First....so that was a joke wasn't it
Sanderman - 2/27/2012, 7:54 PM
hopefully it'll be good. wont judge it til it comes out
Luminus - 2/27/2012, 8:54 PM
Lacks the style, sophistication, and greatness of the Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon. Wonder-Woman-pilot-level fail.
NextHero08 - 2/27/2012, 9:43 PM
The Spider-Bike? Really? Webs and crawling on walls and bein able to get across half of New York in 5mins isnt enough, he needs a bike too? That's like Wonder Woman and her damn invincible plane. That trick can fly. Not koo.
Destroyer14 - 2/27/2012, 9:54 PM
Looking a bit more kiddy than I thought. Still, the animation beats Spectacular and it's good to see Venom again. He looked way too bulky in the previous show.
thewonderer - 2/27/2012, 9:56 PM
The animation in spectacular was pretty crappy. The story of the first season however was pretty awesome. Honestly, the fact that they can bring in characters like Iron Man and Doctor Doom already makes this better to me. Not really seeing the hate you all are suggesting
jaydid - 2/27/2012, 10:07 PM
Gah, I have a feeling this is going to be terrible. Looks really kiddy. And of course it's a cartoon so you have to have a bit of kiddy, but this just looks too much.

Say what you want about Spectacular's animation, but the character development, continuity, and story were simply superb. I couldn't care less about the team ups if it means sacrificing the much more important elements.
FlixMentallo21 - 2/27/2012, 10:09 PM
Holy schnike, did anyone see Thundra in that spot???? This is going to be the animated debut of freaking Thundra!
MarkV - 2/27/2012, 10:12 PM

MarkV - 2/27/2012, 10:13 PM

thewolfx - 2/27/2012, 10:23 PM
wow looks like a bit of a let down compared to spectacular spiderman

were the [frick] is his arm strips?

and that wasnt venom
JigJRod55 - 2/27/2012, 10:35 PM
Surprise butseckz?
thewonderer - 2/27/2012, 10:41 PM

Don't even get me started on how shitty the 90s one was. SPIDERMAN LOST EVERY FIGHT, I KID YOU NOT, SPIDERMAN SUCKED
thewolfx - 2/27/2012, 10:45 PM
fail ^^^
alucard365 - 2/27/2012, 11:34 PM
They cancel Spectacular Spider-Man for this shit !
ScionStorm - 2/28/2012, 12:20 AM
The humor in this is just weird. But the animation is good. I'll give it that so far.
ScionStorm - 2/28/2012, 12:24 AM
I can see "Just thwip it" as the show's catchphrase. Like 2003TMNTurntle "What the Shell". I'm not impressed.
theblackmamba - 2/28/2012, 12:29 AM
This looks like a fail and I loved Ultimate Spiderman! Oh well, time to bring back Neal Patrick Harris. lol
jimoakley666 - 2/28/2012, 1:21 AM
All the people complaining that a cartoon looks too child friendly are just a big old FAIL. CARTOONS ARE MADE FOR KIDS YOU MORONS! Cartoons are not the same as animated movies. This is a kids cartoon on a kids channel. Grow the [frick] up and move on.
CraptainAmerica - 2/28/2012, 1:59 AM
Kinda looked pretty shit...
Name - 2/28/2012, 2:11 AM
the 90's show is out on dvd
AlexDeLarge87 - 2/28/2012, 2:27 AM
yeah the 90s show is still the best we have.
nikgrid - 2/28/2012, 5:18 AM
I think I just thwipped up in my mouth a little. Fvcking awful.
loki668 - 2/28/2012, 5:22 AM
da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da, da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da SPIDERMAN!

Lord Loki has spoken
Shaman - 2/28/2012, 5:30 AM
I'll still buy the box set of the first season. NOT the first volume of the season. Stupid idiotic shitty ass "volumes" GTFO wit dat shit.
BIGBMH - 2/28/2012, 5:51 AM
The animation looks good but the dialog and tone came off a bit corny. Still have high hopes for it.
CrashTest - 2/28/2012, 6:15 AM
I don't think it looks good, or it will be as good as Spectacular. ESPECIALLY the them song!
RidiculousFanBoyDemands - 2/28/2012, 6:51 AM
Spectacular Spider-man was the best spider-man television show. From what I have seen of this show, it looks like crap.

I understand people are nostalgic for the 90's Spider-man, but I found spectacular to be a superior series. I always found the 90's series to be a bit discombobulated at times. It was still fantastic and I remember looking forward to it on Saturday mornings along with X-Men, but between the two, Spider-man doesn't hold up nearly as well as the X-men cartoon. Which in my opinion is the second best comic book animated adaptation behind BTAS.
RidiculousFanBoyDemands - 2/28/2012, 6:53 AM
Also, "Just Thwip it?" Really? That's the best they could come up with? Oh well, I probably won't have time to check this out, but if it receives rave reviews, and isn't too childish I might DVR it.
MrPagBrewster - 2/28/2012, 7:00 AM
really??, all these idiots going, "it's made for kids, of course its going to be kiddy you morons" dumbasses. just because its a cartoon deosn't mean it has to be shit. spectactular was awesome, so complex that it entertained adults and older kids. and of course almost every show in the timmeiverse.
GUNSMITH - 2/28/2012, 7:35 AM
TJpilgrim - 2/28/2012, 7:44 AM
Seems okay, won't judge it just yet.

The "spider-bike" is probably just a one episode thing with spidey borrowing some s.h.i.e.l.d tech perhaps? But o do share the concern for it being to childish, I'll have to wait and see though, like the rest of you :P
Dedpool - 2/28/2012, 8:26 AM
I wasn't vbig on the EMH style art when it first released but as I watched the show it grew on me. Same with Spectacular Spiderman. This will probably be similar.
Chewtoy - 2/28/2012, 10:03 AM
Yeah, that didn't look good at all. I'll withhold judgement until seeing an actual episode, but the commercial wasn't promising.
Jer3miah - 2/28/2012, 10:59 AM
Ghey. These cartoons these days will never compare to the 90s originals. They should just stop trying.
TheSoulEater - 2/28/2012, 12:09 PM
How dare they try to replace Spectacular Spiderman?
Equivocal - 2/28/2012, 12:12 PM
the animation looks more like the spiderman cartoon from the 90's...

webheaded - 2/28/2012, 1:35 PM
It looks, sounds, and feels like it's gonna be a great Spider-Man show!
