I don't think Jared Stern directed The Internship. The master of cinema himself, Shawn Levy, directed it.

that sucks. I hated that Chris and Phil got replaced in Cloudy 2, and now this one?

I won't be seeing it. Chris and Phil are genius' when it comes to some good comedy.
senpai - 2/3/2014, 12:00 PM
Hope to see Watchmen cast in sequel.
THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - 2/3/2014, 12:00 PM
It's getting great reviews
HelaGood - 2/3/2014, 12:06 PM
This will be as close to a Justice League movie we get...

Wonder Woman, Batman, SUperman, Flash, Green Lantern

Okay, this really pisses me off.

They're replacing Phil Lord and Chris Miller for the sequel? Why do studios keep doing this? They bring on great talent for the first film in a franchise so that the good film hooks in viewers. Then, they cash in on shitty sequels because of the ingrained audience.

[frick] you WB. Seriously, keep Phil Lord and Chris Miller or no go.

Damn it all to hell.

I don't understand how WB will green light a Lego sequel, but won't commit to their live action superhero movies.
AGoodHonestMan - 2/3/2014, 12:29 PM
By then Chris Pratt would've been Star Lord...a Star Lord cameo pretty please?!
patrat18 - 2/3/2014, 12:52 PM

I would LOVE to see the Marvel vs DC Lego happen. Lets face it, it will be as close as we get.

Also I wouldn't mind a Halloween special with the Ghostbusters, Monster Fighters, and DC Lego. Since Frankenstein is in DC and the Monster Fighters it would be great.

Cloudy 2 wasn't too bad considering, but the writer of 'the Internship' and 'Mr Popper's Penguins?' He also wrote 'The Watch', and, according to IMDB, has writing credits for 'Wreck-it-Ralph' and 'The Princess and the frog', but that isn't saying much.

I don't know what's more disturbing, the fact that you are old enough to have 'younglings', the fact that you call them 'younglings', or the fact that you even have 'younglings'. I'm calling social services.

Nice it looks like Lego Movies will be at least everyone's favorite WB franchised. Planning already? Nice.. again it looks like they know what they are doing.
Going to watch this with my lil bro for an excuse lol
yonny616 - 2/3/2014, 1:43 PM
WB did the Lego Marvel games. With the right deals put in place they can bring Marvel characters in Lego form for the next film.
ReeferInferno - 2/3/2014, 2:33 PM
What? I'm really looking forward to this, but I'm already put off the sequel cause why would they get rid of Lord and Miller?
manofmidgard - 2/3/2014, 4:00 PM
please tell us that the "batman" role affleck got is really for the lego movie! now it all makes more sense!
gal gadot is lego wonder woman too! finally, her flatness works for her!

ok back to reality. *sigh*

i bet lego batman will actually be better than affleck's or bale's. not that it'll take much.
UltimateHunt - 2/3/2014, 4:11 PM
Lol for once I believe you, jess will play lex in the lego sequel and snyder will direct the film but not the real life its all been a dream :(
Lol yeah Lego beat snyder to have more than 2 science characters in one film.
Can't wait for the movie to be good to laugh at them lol
MacacoMalandro - 2/3/2014, 4:22 PM
Saw just today. It is very good and funny, plenty of referencial and meta jokes . As good as Cloudy Wuth Chance of Meatballs and better than 21 Jump Street. Way better than "Wreck it Ralph"
darkjoker1 - 2/3/2014, 9:02 PM
ummm what -_- the movie isnt out out and there jumping the gun on a another one i love everything Lego but this just feels like a money grabbing cash sequel.......
jimdotbeep - 2/3/2014, 10:39 PM

TimDrake87 - 2/3/2014, 11:58 PM
Bad writers taking over
mgeoff88 - 2/4/2014, 1:04 AM
Throw in Marvel characters in the sequel, so we could get some DC vs. Marvel Lego action.
