Here's What THE INCREDIBLES Would Have Looked Like Directed By Christopher Nolan

The Dark Knight Trilogy director Christopher Nolan has tackled a variety of genres, but not an animated feature (yet!). So, what would happen if the man behind Interstellar had helmed Disney and Pixar's The Incredibles? Well, this cleverly put together trailer reveals all...

Well, that actually looks...amazing! It's hard to imagine Christopher Nolan ever tackling an animated movie (though you never know), but if he does, make it a dark superhero family drama made by Pixar. It doesn't sound like a Marvel/Pixar collaboration will ever happen - more on that can be found by clicking here - but a Nolan/Pixar one sounds even better, especially if you thrown in Hans Zimmer on scoring duties. So, who wants to start the petition to get Nolan to helm The Incredibles 2? Check out the video above and share your thoughts below.

I still get chills when I hear Zimmer's score.

The creator of the video is named Bobby Burns. Here's some more his stuff:

The UP one is the greatest!
FordEl - 8/29/2014, 4:59 PM
Honestly its just a trailer with music from TDK. It matches well, I guess.
BatmanHeisenberg - 8/29/2014, 4:59 PM
THe Incredib;es somehow perfectly mixes Fantastic Four, X-Men AND Watchmen. One of the best CBM's ever. Can't wait for sequel.
Dingbat - 8/29/2014, 5:00 PM
@Jollem

@BatManHeisenberg
It's been years since I watched it. How does it incorporate X-Men and Watchmen?
Grodd87 - 8/29/2014, 5:02 PM
Liked the up one the best
UltimateCookie - 8/29/2014, 5:02 PM
Hell for a animated movie Incredibles was kinda dark on its own.
TheRationalNerd - 8/29/2014, 5:04 PM
Can I get a "HELL YEAH!!" For Incredibles 2 !!!
Starfox - 8/29/2014, 5:04 PM
oh C'mon dude... Give Brad Bird the credit he deserves.
MrDeadRabbit - 8/29/2014, 5:05 PM
Nolan is a great filmmaker of our times, I will concede that, I like a lot The presige and Inception, I theibk of those as hie masterworks.

But, as a ComicBookMovie Director he just is awful!!!

He just lacks the humor of James Gunn, the action/direction of Joss Whedon, the tecnical fight awesomeness of the Russos' bros, the joy of John Favreau, he is a great movie maker but just NOT a great comic book Movie maker.

The great thing is he is not doing any more CBM's
AlexanderLykins - 8/29/2014, 5:09 PM
I find your lack of MCU news disturbing.

I showed my little 7 year old cousin that Shining trailer a few years back. I was told later on that she was crying while actually watching the movie. :D
jasonicus - 8/29/2014, 5:10 PM
They forgot to add all of the gaping plotholes.
BatmanHeisenberg - 8/29/2014, 5:11 PM
@staypuffed & @MarkyMark

Every superhero is born with the powers, like mutants. Also, the exclusion of them is like Watchmen and X-Men. Also, there were LAWS put in place to end superheroes, like Watchmen!
Jollem - 8/29/2014, 5:11 PM
@Dingbat - there's another one of bay's shawshank redemption by the same guy but it's not as good
DrunkenNukem - 8/29/2014, 5:14 PM
Hey why don't we make a video using a bunch of radom scenes from the incredibles, with Zimmer's theme from TDK and Syndrome's voice in the background and call it "Here's What THE INCREDIBLES Would Have Looked Like Directed By Christopher Nolan"....just because we can...

MrDeadRabbit - 8/29/2014, 5:14 PM
@MarkyMark I think that @BatManHeisenberg means with his comparison this:

Similiarities between The incredibles and Watchmen (the comic more than the movie):

-They live in a world where superheores are restricted orsimply not accepeted anymore
-Mr Incredible was in a bad situation that puts him as a not reliable super hero and public eyes made him dissapear, the same with The Comedian
-The Heroes are being killed in both incredibles and watchmen
-A former hero turns out to be the main baddie

I bet I am letting one or two more escape my mind right now
Jollem - 8/29/2014, 5:15 PM
MrDeadRabbit - 8/29/2014, 5:16 PM
@BatManHeisenberg

hey mate, my explanation is more or less the same you have of The incredibles incorporating a lot of Watchmen plot points?
Neonzel - 8/29/2014, 5:16 PM
Pixar's MOS

MrDeadRabbit - 8/29/2014, 5:17 PM
hey @Jollem

how yo doing man?
MrDeadRabbit - 8/29/2014, 5:18 PM
By the way I would love a The Incredibles / Big Hero Six crossover

That would make it an instantd blockbuster beyond my wildest dreams : D
GenreFan - 8/29/2014, 5:18 PM
DrunkenNukem - 8/29/2014, 5:20 PM

FearTheLiving - 8/29/2014, 5:22 PM
Too much color.
Jollem - 8/29/2014, 5:22 PM
@DaneMendieta - hey, howzitgoin'? waiting for Destiny to come out. then i'll be in hermit mode
GiantNerd - 8/29/2014, 5:23 PM
The action is way too good to be a Nolan movie.

DrKinsolving - 8/29/2014, 5:26 PM
@Dandy

Haha, that's great.... I like the "Groundhog Day - Horror Movie" one too, that shit is hilarious
GiantNerd - 8/29/2014, 5:30 PM
@DudeGuyMan

Love MacGruber lol.
MrDeadRabbit - 8/29/2014, 5:31 PM
@AlphaAndDecima

If all the people who disagree with you are automatically labeled a Troll then I imagine the world must be a huge cave full of trolls to you.

I agree with you that he is a phenomenal director... but to me there are some directors suited for some generes and some directors that just don't even if they are great with other genres.

Great Comic Book Movie Directors:
-James Gunn
-Joss Whedon
-The Russos
-John Favreau
-Shane Black
-Alex ¨Proyas
-Guillermo del Torro

Great Directors (but awful at Comic Book Movies)
-Christopher Nolan
-Ang Lee
-Martin Campbell
CherryBomb - 8/29/2014, 5:32 PM
Loved it!
But I wish they would've put a dark or grey toned overlay on the clips!
