Disappointed about the loss of 2 of your favorite shows? With the world of Tumblr exploding like nobody's business here are a few tips to give that frustrated anger some focus and direction.

1. One can only be constructive if they're relaxed enough to think straight.

2. Think what is it that you want to do constructively, I know I know death threats, acts of online destruction and verbal assault is very tempting but for the greater good one may want to show a much more.. coherent and logical argument directed against the shows cancellation.

3. What is it you like about the show and what does it mean to you, and how best to present this. Some would use banners, some would use art and some would use petitions contact pages and larks.

4. Show and express your passion, nothing like fellow fans in need and creation of a support group to help you through this grief. Thousands, literally thousands of people online in under 24 hours need your support.

5. Writing an engaging letter, here is mine

To Whom It May Concern

I have just learned through the press release that Young Justice is officially being cancelled. I would urge you to reconsider this move. Young Justice is an extremely valuable show in terms of it’s quality and it’s effect. There’s very few shows that stand the test of time, Justice League, Batman:TAS even Marvel’s X-Men Animated series were all intelligent experiments that were effective that have and will have massive demographics decades past it’s original run, as you can see from online activities and dvd releases. Young Justice has the same kind of potential as those shows, it has a large cast of characters, it has strong sense of continuity and currently it is the only superhero show on air intelligent enough to stand the test of time. I don’t know what conditions that this decision was made under, maybe it was due to popularity of shows with younger demographic or more merchandise potential but I do know any good show fought over like this will be has more investment potential than whatever than the condition those decisions might have. I urge you to reconsider your decision and continue this series.

6. And Forward your letter to all the correct people in charge
DC Comics - http://www.dcentertainment.com/contact
Cartoon Network - http://www.cartoonnetwork.com/feedback/

7. Sign the petition

8. And.. have Hope.

Don't know why the 5 year thing would phase you from watching it if you are a fan of good stories. All those stories are great and have been getting better.

The petition is realy close to the needed number, unless I'm reading it very wrong. (Which I Pray I'm not!)
jjk2814 - 1/29/2013, 1:53 PM
Great write-up Khany. This kind of level-headedness is rare but much appreciated!
jjk2814 - 1/29/2013, 1:59 PM
Signed the petition and yeah, @SAT, its down to needing a little less than 570 votes.
SAT - 1/29/2013, 2:48 PM
@jjk2814 I signed it to, heck my uncle signed it and he's never SEEN the show, he just knows how much I love it and that if I'd sign a petition for it it must be awesome.

@LEVITIKUZ Fshyeah, they're gonna do what they want... They'll be just as preductive either way. Look, just because you may not care for the show, that doesn't mean other people don't. And I never saw your reaction to that movie's cancelation, soooo yeah....
dezdigi - 1/29/2013, 2:51 PM
Signed, sealed, and e-delivered

jjk2814 - 1/29/2013, 10:09 PM
It's not a U.S. Government petition. Cmon, give us a break. TRYING to do something about this is better than just crying and moaning about it, isn't it?

Oh, and I wanna ask; Are you okay, man? I feel like you've been significantly negative lately. I'm not razzing you, just honestly wondering. I usually agree with your mindset on things. Case in point; I'm with 100% with Hellboy 3. I wouldn't give up in it though. Not at all. I think if Guillermo decides he want to do it bad enough, he'll find a way.
jjk2814 - 1/29/2013, 10:11 PM
^^Oh, and seeing that you have Bender as your icon, I'd think you'd be more open to the idea that a cancelled show can find a way back. Stay positive, bud.
kemuael - 1/30/2013, 12:47 AM
well i know for a fact petitions dont work at all isnt that right fans of spectacular spiderman lol
SAT - 1/30/2013, 11:37 AM
@LEVITIKUZ There probably is a petition for that movie, look it up, or make your own.
SAT - 1/30/2013, 11:39 AM
@kemuael Oh please, if your trying to become the new Grif (whos back btw) you're REALLY bad at trolling, you just come off as an arrogent jerk. Don't do that, it's not cool.
SAT - 1/30/2013, 11:43 AM
@kemuael Oh and if you really cared for Marvel so much, you wouldn't act like how you do, giving more leverage to Nolanites to clame Marvel fans are immarture flamers.
