ANT-MAN Director Peyton Reed On Adam McKay's Script, Humor, 'Yellowjacket' And More

In the following video interview, Ant-Man director Edgar Wright Peyton Reed talks about the relationship between Scott Lang and Hank Pym, the current state of the (unfinished) script, Adam McKay's influence on the humour and much more. Check it out!


In the following video interview, Peyton Reed praises Ant-Man's "terrific" script (which is still being worked on) before going on to discuss the relationship between Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), as well as the potential challenges of making the character a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The director also comments on Yellowjacket being in the movie, before teasing the appearance of other bad guys by stating that it , "depends on how you define 'villain'". Finally, he promises that Adam McKay is bringing a lot to the movie's script, including plenty of Easter Eggs as he's a huge Marvel fan. As for humour, it sounds as if Ant-Man will be similar to most of the other Marvel Studios in that respect.
