We all know that filming for Ant-man just recently started earlier this week in San Francisco, we've had some brief set photos, and an official still featuring Scott Lang portrayed by Paul Rudd. Today in the San Francisco bay area there was an Earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 that did lots of destruction and nearly over 120 were people injured. There’s no word by Marvel or any of the cast members if this Earthquake affected their filming schedule in any way. We should be getting some information very soon on the current state of production for Marvel’s first film in Phase three. Stay tuned because we’ll keep you updated on any information regarding delays or something of that sort. Let's wish the people of San Francisco with good wishes and that they stay strong. Sound off below.

I think @AsgardianHobo lives in SF. I was going to crash at his place while I try the "epic" food and women.
MrBlackJack - 8/24/2014, 5:32 PM
... I'm not going to SF now. I'll take harrowing blizzards over earthquakes, thank you very much.
marvel72 - 8/24/2014, 5:34 PM

I read that a few people were seriously injured, so at this point the best we can hope for is that nobody dies from injuries. My heart goes out to any victims as well.

As for Ant-Man, there hasn't been any actual talk as to production problems, but I'm hoping that the movie gets delayed several months so they don't have to rush it as much as they already are. Not meaning that the earthquake is good in any context of course, I just want it to be delayed period.
MrBlackJack - 8/24/2014, 5:36 PM
If the filming is delayed, I doubt it'll be by very much.
DeusExSponge - 8/24/2014, 5:39 PM
Damn, hope everyone that was affected by the earthquake is alright.
MrFridayNights - 8/24/2014, 5:43 PM

NovaCorpsFan - 8/24/2014, 5:44 PM

The earthquake was part of a conspiracy from Marvel to delay Antman and not look bad.

But for real, I hope nobody dies from the injuries and that everyone is alright. My heart goes out to everyone affected
Invictor - 8/24/2014, 5:50 PM
Hopefully everything is okay in regards to the injured. I'm pretty sure production on Ant-Man will be fine.

I own a second home in Napa, about 1 mile from the airport near downtown. The house was built in the 1920's and only suffered some minor cracking in the interior plaster. I kind of think if my house can hold up to it, the overall damage isn't going to be that bad. Sure there are shots of the downtown building (it's actually down the same street as my house), but that looks like the wild exception, not the rule. Mostly just broken dishes and stuff.

Doesn't mean you can't get hurt in those, 6.1 ain't too shabby, but I doubt there will be any delays in filming.

My heart goes out to the victims and their friends and family

I hate earthquakes. That shit woke me up at 2 something in the morning, shaking my whole house. Its wierd, cause the first hit is like a loud bang.
Gusto - 8/25/2014, 9:06 AM
Geez...I hope my sexy dance moves didn't cause the quake.
Trickwil - 8/28/2014, 11:39 AM
(From California) There are 2 forms of earthquakes the ones that shut down life and destroy everything and the kind that did nothing. I guarantee filming hasnt been delayed at all. If traffic isn't even stopped filming doesn't stop in CA.
