@Mr.Samson - negative. i'm just aping the repetitive new 52 hatin' :)
DellRusk - 6/19/2014, 8:23 AM
@Jollem

Well its very good. Give it a read.
Phronesis - 6/19/2014, 8:26 AM
@Jollem The New 52 is a sorry excuse of a reboot filled with inconsistent continuity.
jimoakley666 - 6/19/2014, 8:42 AM
Looks ace. Really loving this run.
Jollem - 6/19/2014, 9:00 AM

TheBuoyWonder - 6/19/2014, 9:01 AM
@Phronesis have you seen the state of the marvel universes continuity?
DellRusk - 6/19/2014, 9:08 AM
@TheBuoyWonder

What exactly about the "state of the marvel universes continuity" is giving you trouble? I know there is a lot of time travel stories and the incursion thing that's going on as a result of it. But I'm following it perfectly fine. What's giving you a problem?
TheBuoyWonder - 6/19/2014, 9:13 AM
Do you read Captain America?
DellRusk - 6/19/2014, 9:25 AM
@TheBuoyWonder

Yes I read Captain America.
TheBuoyWonder - 6/19/2014, 9:35 AM
Well, have any of the events in that book been referenced or reflected in any other books?
DellRusk - 6/19/2014, 9:44 AM
@TheBuoyWonder

Yes it has. In Uncanny Avengers Cap was telling Wasp about how he was marooned in Dimension Z for 10 years and how he lost people close to him. Actually Cap lashed out at Wolverine earilier in U.A. because he learned Wolverine killed a child when he was with X-Force which drew up his memories of losing his adopted son in Dimesion Z.
DellRusk - 6/19/2014, 9:47 AM
@TheBuoyWonder

Also you see Red Skull for a hook for a hand in a not so recent Cap issue which he lost in one of the early issues of Uncanny Avengers to Wolverine.

@TheBuoyWonder, actually Cap is kinda fitting in to continuity. They reference in a lot of different stories that caps involved in that he went to this pocket reality aged like crazy then came back. So they do match it with the rest of the comics

If anybody were to complain about continuity it would be this title, awhile back I just learned to give in and accept that its going in a whole different direction. Now it's all shaping up and coming full circle. This read has been GREAT! Remender is a great, love the stories. I believe he also does Deadly Class for Image which has been amazing. Excited for this story to conclude.

Remender is pretty crazy, like good old fashioned crazy. Sometimes I don't like his stories on a big level, but I always like little small things he does in them.

Like in this onea bunch of issues ago there was a part where Cap gets his eardrums blown out by an explosion and then he's running around with Havok. And everything Havok is saying, Cap repeats after again but he keeps getting words wrong cuz he can't hear. Made me really happy for some reason. That's totally what Cap would do. haha. And then after a while, he just starts messing with Havok, cuz his ears heal back really fast. but that wasn't even the funny part, it was just how Cap felt like he had to repeat everything Havok said.

I like how Remender is kinda allowed to do his own thing. This is the type of situation where I'm glad they aren't enforcing little knick knack continuity things between titles. Is that gonna make anything better? it's just gonna be a pain in the ass for the writers to always be worried about each other and what a headache.

I don't have much of a problem with discontinuity tho.

Him and Hickman both seem like they could fit in really well on some stuff at DC. Like sometimes I think of what if Remender ever did a Green Lantern book.

my god, that would be such insane stuff. just pure insanity. like the 70s or 80s kind of crazy. he's really great. or like Superman, he would probably bring the right amount of crazy to spice things up. it's fun to imagine what different people would do on a Superman book.

That's some pretty pictures.
