That pretty impressive. That number is only going to get larger. It will be awhile before a franchise topples this achievement.
This calls for boobs.

Wonderful news! I have a feeling that Star Wars will also top Harry Potter in 2015.

Well deserved. I was a little let down with Thor 2 and Iron Man 3 but Captain America 2 definitely raised the bar for Marvel again. I loved every second of The Winter Soldier and I thought it was the best Marvel movie to date, and in my top 3 favorite superhero movie of all time. I wonder what WB/ DC are thinking of this right now.
I feel that if Avengers 2 is even bigger and better than the first one, Batman and Superman might get hit really hard in the ass come May 2016.

Loving the new Hail Hydra fad. Gonna try it out at work this week and see how that goes
Bekss - 4/7/2014, 7:49 PM
With almost the same amount of movies, but with characters less popular than Harry Potter like Thor and Captain America..
With AoU it will be the the worldwide record.

Yeah it should be by now,
Lord of the Rings (counting the hobbits): six movies -five so far.
Harry Potter: 8 movies.
Star Wars: 6 about to be 7.
X-Men (counting the Wolverine spinoffs): 7 when Days of Future past comes out.
Marvel: 9 about to have 12 by the time Ant Man comes out.

Makes sense, with so many films. With the climbing they'll continue to do, they're going to be at the top for quite some time.

Seriously, anyone who attempts to turn this into a flame war is vapid. This is cause for celebration, as a COMIC BOOK based franchise has found so much success.
McGee - 4/7/2014, 8:24 PM
Man....I'm sure Marvel is so happy they didn't sell themselves to Warner Bros.

Like DC Comics did...
