Agent Coulson's death, Life-Model Decoys (LMD's), Vision and Scarlet Witch. A connection?

Given the recent news coming from Marvel Studious and clues from Marvel's The Avengers, I think I may have cracked the code.

(Warning: Poor grammar throughout)

All of these ideas are my own and I have not read any of the comics before so take it easy if some of my speculation seems delirious or nonsensical.

The death of Agent Coulson was the straw that broke the camels back in the first Avengers film. Our heroes used it as motivation to put their differences aside to defeat Loki and his army of Chitauri.

A few months later we learn that Phil Coulson is not dead and will be returning in the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. show. Joss said that his "death" would be explained. I think I may have cracked the code people! I think I may have cracked it!

We have recently learned that the title of the sequel to Marvel's The Avengers is Avengers: Age of Ultron. Which means that Ultron will likely be the films antagonist. Also that Scarlet Witch is going to be in the movie. We also know that Vin Diesel is in talks to play an undisclosed character in the movie. Ever since his involvement he has dropped hints about what is going to happen with his character and about who he might play. I think most assume it's either Vision or Thanos. But Thanos isn't in Avengers: Age of Ultron is he? Joss said he wasn't. So that leaves it to one character, Vision.

Back to Marvel's The Avengers. Where Tony, who is most likely the creator of Ultron, references LMD's in Stark Tower. This is very big in terms of what I think happened with Agent Coulson. I think he's an LMD in the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. show. I think the real Coulson is still alive. I think Coulson's brain is still active and his brain waves are going to create Vision.

What? That's not true to the comics you say? Neither is Stark creating Ultron. Neither is Hank Pym not creating him. So I think the idea of staying true to the comics has completely gone out the window. Besides it's the MCU, it's supposed to be a little different. Anyways back to the main point of the article.

Now this is a huge stretch. Vin Diesel has talked about his role being involved with a love story. In Marvel's The Avengers, Coulson constantly talked about a Cellist he was seeing. Now I have yet to confirm this, so take it easy on me, but isn't Scarlet Witch a cellist? What if Scarlet Witch is in love with the brain waves of Coulson rather than Simon Williams. What if they were seeing each other before he knew who she really was?

I know this is a bit of a stretch but wouldn't that be about as personal as it gets? The Avengers find out Coulson isn't really dead. The Stark created Ultron finds Coulson and creates Vision. Meanwhile, the Avengers find Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver. Vision is told by Ultron to lead the Avengers into a trap. Scarlet Witch and Vision hit it off after finding out how he was created and who he really is. Maybe Stark reaches out to this Cellist?

The only problem I see is the age difference between Coulson and the 20 something year old actor who is going to play Scarlet Witch. Isn't that what Vin Diesel is for though? I know this all seems scattered around and sounds crazy but who would have thought we wouldn't get Ultron without Hank?

Doesn't all of that seem pretty personal? Not to mention that Hawkeye takes a liking to Scarlet Witch as well.

Please leave a comment and throw out some ideas. Joss thinks he threw us a curveball and I have no intention of striking out.

Hmm... Interesting idea. I like it. It might not be what they wind up doing in the movie, but we'll see once we get more information on the film. Nice theory!

Don't think its true, buy hey.

Ya never know. Why reference LMDs in the same movie, that you kill off a character, and then reveal he's not dead. I know in a couple interviews Whedon talked like he had the intention of really killing him off, and then Marvel wanted him back, but how do we know what's really true?

I know, Nick Fury's a liar.

I'm pretty sure that they've already basically admitted that Coulson never died, it was just a lie to kickstart the Avengers. I thought the whole "life model decoy" comment by Stark was just a joke. So it will be the real Coulson in the show. Therefore, leave all these farfetched theories behind please.
