Good track list. Love me some Shinedown, Rise Against and Theory Of A Deadman.
xcrementus - 3/27/2012, 7:45 AM
ugh....a list of nearly every band i hate, except the 'Garden. I'm glad the actual movie has the Silvestri score and not these hacks.
BlazinTexan - 3/27/2012, 7:47 AM
Dude I had to sit through rise against to see akaline trio and I wanted to kill myself with my beer bottle! But Glad to see SoundGarden back together rockin are avengers balls off.
Wildaniel - 3/27/2012, 7:48 AM
When does the score release? I want to hear it, but not read the titles, it will ruin the movie for you, lol.
xcrementus - 3/27/2012, 7:50 AM
haha yeah, i had Rise Against TWICE, before System of a Down and before Bad Religion. it's like poison in my ears lol.
ThreeBigTacos - 3/27/2012, 7:52 AM
Hell yea Rise Against!
marvel72 - 3/27/2012, 7:53 AM
can't say i've heard of any of those groups before apart from soundgarden, papa roach & evanescence.

@ xcrementus

i'm with you on that,i'm glad its got a silvestri score.
BlazinTexan - 3/27/2012, 7:55 AM
We should make nickelback and rise against fight to the death with the winner being sent to space.
Ha1frican - 3/27/2012, 7:56 AM
Except Rise Aainst I hate all these bands...
xcrementus - 3/27/2012, 8:00 AM
epic movie needs epic bands on the soundtrack. Iron Man 1 and 2 had Suicidal Tendencies, Clash, AC-DC, and freakin Sabbath for gods sakes. Even Thor had Foo Fighters, (ok it was lame ballad Foos, not balls out rockin Foos).

We need bands whose names survive the next 2 decades.
Where's the Muse? Queens of the Stone Age? Frickin Nine Inch Nails was used in the trailer, where the Hell are they?

no, instead we get Black Veil Brides. (shudders)
also, inter-changeable post-grunge radio rock bands like Shinedown, Theory of a Deadman and Buckcherry.

Evanescence? Really? I did't realise the movie was marketed towards wannabe scenesters.

Scott Weiland? the guys been crawling on the floor for the last decade. Bush? why did they even get back together? Papa Roach? musical junk food.

Rise Against and Five Finger Death Punch? sigh. sighhhhhhhhh.

One Soundgarden song trumps all other songs on this disc lol.
peppy - 3/27/2012, 8:06 AM
Man Im getting the soundtrack an the OST by Alan Silvestri [frick] YEA AVENGERS ASSEMBLE!!!!!!! It's a good being a marvel fan
cmax - 3/27/2012, 8:06 AM
this is basically the daredevil soundtrack...
leeharveyoswld - 3/27/2012, 8:09 AM
Wow that is a lot of Mall Metal.
Maybe Josh W has a deal with Hot Topic.
BmanHall - 3/27/2012, 8:10 AM
Ugh... Five Finger Death Punch? I'll just mute that part of the movie. At least Nickel Back isn't in there.
mawilli4 - 3/27/2012, 8:11 AM
Rise Against and Sound Garden are the only good bands on the whole list. I cannot stand Buckherry.
Spidey91 - 3/27/2012, 8:11 AM
getting this,the score,the DVD,everything! :P
avengingson - 3/27/2012, 8:13 AM
Yeah, Soundgarden's the only decent band on there, although to me they haven't put out a decent album since BadMotorFinger (it's true, it's true). Maybe the Bush track will be passable. Everything else is pretty much the crapola that killed rock radio for me (and most likely for millions of others). This bland BS is to blame for the death of rocknroll... Although on second review there have been a couple BuckCherry songs I've liked...
Loki666 - 3/27/2012, 8:16 AM
Ugh, I had high hopes when I heard the clip of the Soundgarden song but the rest of these bands...just no. Maybe Evanescence could work if it were a different movie. Papa Roach was ok when they first started, but since then they've turned into bad pop rock.
ThaMessenger07 - 3/27/2012, 8:17 AM
I don't listen to anything that's not Japanese Funk.....
dahamma - 3/27/2012, 8:25 AM
Dang they got some good names up there!!
SOund Garden SHinedown Papa Roach, Evanescence? 5 FInger Death Punch?

Cool Beans, Whedon must be a rock fan
dahamma - 3/27/2012, 8:27 AM
Iron Man had the best rockers though, cant beat AC/DC and Sabbath
PapaEmeritus - 3/27/2012, 8:31 AM
Ugh!!! Soundgarden is great but the rest of this soundtrack is a disaster, simply AWFUL!! Where is AC/DC and Sabbath??
PaulRom - 3/27/2012, 8:37 AM
They should've added some Skillet to the mix. "Monster" is a perfect theme song for Hulk.
thalidomide - 3/27/2012, 8:37 AM
Really? Black Veil Brides? smh.
RorMachine - 3/27/2012, 8:40 AM
Aside from Soundgarden none of these bands float my boat, maybe Kasabian if I'm in a good mood.
TheOverlord - 3/27/2012, 8:40 AM
The lack of NIN is a fail. Song's been going through my head since the first trailer dropped.
thalidomide - 3/27/2012, 8:41 AM

PartyHard - 3/27/2012, 8:43 AM
Those are all [frick]ing terrible bands and songs.
marvel72 - 3/27/2012, 8:43 AM
i didn't notice kasabian on that list, they're shit hot love them & muse.
ecksmanfan - 3/27/2012, 8:49 AM
Holy shit, that sound track takes me back to the 90's! When did grunge rock make a come back?!
MJPETTY7 - 3/27/2012, 8:50 AM
No "We're In This Together Now" by Nine Inch Nails? Really? Okay...
MovieTheaterLad - 3/27/2012, 8:51 AM
Oh my god. This sound track is terrible. Nothing on there but 90's rock bands and bands that wish they were 90's rock bands. Holy shit it's like a 14 year old from 2005 came up with this playlist.

I'm sorry, but everything about this just has generic written all over it. They might as well just put Nickleback in there.

I mean, Buckcherry? Black Veil Brides? BLACK VEIL [frick]ING BRIDES? Really? REALLY MARVEL?

HavocPrime - 3/27/2012, 8:51 AM
Wheres NiN?
brewtownpsych - 3/27/2012, 8:51 AM
If we had a year we couldn't come up with a shittier collection of bands. Wow.
ecksmanfan - 3/27/2012, 8:53 AM
I think I found something about the Avengers to bitch about...besides Cap's helmet that is.
MovieTheaterLad - 3/27/2012, 8:54 AM
I never thought I'd say this but... [frick] this, I'm going to Twilight.

Because the Twilight movies, while terribad, had REALLY good soundtracks, at least.
AlexDeLarge87 - 3/27/2012, 8:57 AM
Soundgarden is the only i dig from that list.
HughJasol - 3/27/2012, 8:57 AM
What no Seal?
MovieTheaterLad - 3/27/2012, 9:01 AM
What we need is something that only makes us stronger.

Something that is... UNSTOPPABLE!

MovieTheaterLad - 3/27/2012, 9:05 AM
In fact, now that I think about it, something like Maybeshewill would've been perfect.
