I guess Robert Downey Jr. will been shown behind the helmet eventually and probably come back for re shoots or when the film goes into post-production
95 - 8/29/2011, 8:19 PM
So the film artwork was just old concept work? Happy to see the triangular arc reactor.

@ThreeBigTacos The guy has the video there, but it still says "processing" so I'm waiting for the finish...if it ever will.

Fire that bitch with the Iron Man armor. If you can't keep the suit off the ground, GTFO the set.

DCMarvelFreshman - 8/29/2011, 8:41 PM

ThreeBigTacos - 8/29/2011, 8:53 PM
LordBaphomet is going to be setting a tent out a week in advanced at the theater when The Avengers comes out.
TheMightyMan - 8/29/2011, 8:58 PM
I havent seen any scene at sunset with the circular chest, so this must be the first fight of the movie, after that iron man will be using the new armor.
ThreeBigTacos - 8/29/2011, 8:59 PM
@ LordBaphomet

I wonder who is thumbing this down 7 times.... hmmm
DCMarvelFreshman - 8/29/2011, 9:06 PM
I "thumb-downed" my own articles. That seems to be the new hip thing. lol But I'm definitely looking forward to this movie. Besides graduating, it's something in 2012 of my life I'm most anticipating.
ThreeBigTacos - 8/29/2011, 9:13 PM
I gotta agree, all my favorite childhood superheros are hitting the big screen 2012, Spidey, The Avengers, Batman, plus movies like Promethius! This is a dream come true for me!
Vital - 8/29/2011, 9:19 PM
It's funny cause Marvel and DC take up the majority of fans on this site, so it's humorous to me when somebody dislikes a Marvel or DC film, it's like, are you joking? Why are you even on here lol? Silly people. If you're really THAT bored, you can go over to movieweb.com, with all the other generic movie people. This site is for fans of cbms. FANS. AND THIS GOES FOR ALL HATERS ON THIS SITE, YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE.

I personally cannot wait for this and Batman, whoo boy I'm getting excited :)
HULK2099 - 8/29/2011, 9:35 PM
Omg so epic !!! Did y'all see how he grabbed that ankle !
HavocT - 8/29/2011, 9:37 PM

DoomXfactor - 8/29/2011, 10:28 PM
I guess u don't have to be in shape to be a mocap guy
DoomXfactor - 8/29/2011, 10:32 PM
So Iron Man is getting his ass kicked by the villains from Stargate???
Foxpaw - 8/30/2011, 12:42 AM
i wonder if he pisses himself again when aliens start surrounding him...
KungFuKoala - 8/30/2011, 2:18 AM

Don't be too harsh on them, I don't imagine those tight fitting mo cap suits will be very flattering!
poop23 - 8/30/2011, 2:38 AM
YES! The triangle chest piece!!!
poop23 - 8/30/2011, 2:44 AM
ANd why does LordBaphomet even look at these pages,,, Yeah we get it, you don't like this movie, stop bitchin
Jefferys - 8/30/2011, 3:20 AM
These excite me. Probably a lot more then they should.
BillyBatson1000 - 8/30/2011, 3:25 AM
Jeez, Iron Man's down and he didn't even have time to polish his helmet . . . Guess Pepper Pots can fix that later.
Sjet - 8/30/2011, 3:49 AM
Humm, these aliens have the ability to produce kicks, interesting.
BooYah - 8/30/2011, 4:28 AM
Nobody answered my question pre update of this article.

Why do they have Iron Man pieces if he will be cgi?
VictorHugo - 8/30/2011, 4:38 AM
BooYah: just like in previous moves, they need the pieces for the close-ups shots.
meatbag - 8/30/2011, 4:44 AM
I'm thinking Victor Hugo has that right. Why have a mo-cap guy for a scene where Iron Man is on the ground unconscious, or where all you see is from the shoulders up? Props make sense.
VictorHugo - 8/30/2011, 5:24 AM
Mostly CGI Iron Man maybe it means he will do be doing a lot of flying and ray zapping around. It would be great if he were also side by side with Cap and Thor in that scene.
marvel72 - 8/30/2011, 5:52 AM
@ booyah

have faith in the motion capture iron man,ILM are doing the cgi its gonna look fantastic just like the previous iron man movies.
Ha1frican - 8/30/2011, 6:00 AM
iron man has always been mo cap accept for like 1 sscene in each movie
