Adam West Reportedly "Confirmed" To Cameo In The Dark Knight Rises!

Following rumors that the star of the 1960's TV series had been spotted on the Wayne Manor location in Nottingham, one source now claims that Adam West has been confirmed to cameo in The Dark Knight Rises...

I'm sure you recall seeing the recent rumors that Adam West had been spotted hanging around the Nottingham set of Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises. Well, according to FLOSS Magazine, the man who played Batman in the 1960's WILL indeed have a cameo in the upcoming movie. Take it with a pinch of salt for now, but here's what they had to say via Twitter earlier today.

With an all star cast which includes Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Garly Oldman as Jim Gordon, Tom Hardy as Bane, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake and Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate, The Dark Knight Rises is set to be released on July 20, 2012!

Anthrax - 7/5/2011, 1:48 PM

DaenerysTargaryen - 7/5/2011, 1:51 PM
Haha this should be good
JR - 7/5/2011, 1:57 PM
Good news!
@marvel72 so whos first and whos third?
MarkV - 7/5/2011, 1:58 PM
Hate to be a grouch about this, but sounds kind of lame to me. I think I would find it kind of distracting. Of coure hypocrite that I am, I love all the Stan Lee cameos in the Marvel films.
write33 - 7/5/2011, 1:59 PM

Michael Keaton!

ok technically Kevin Conroy is first. but assuming it's live action.

sorry, i think Bale is brilliant, but his Batman's voice is just too goofy for me.
Jefferys - 7/5/2011, 1:59 PM
He'll probably just be in a crowd shot
DeathAdder - 7/5/2011, 2:01 PM
He better not step infront of Christian Bale's light.
SuperDude001 - 7/5/2011, 2:02 PM
I bet you his back gets broken in the film and Christian Bale/Bruce Wayne's doesn't...well okay I don't bet you because Nolan isn't that stupid.
Digitaria51 - 7/5/2011, 2:03 PM
I do not have a problem with this
Lol DeathAdder
felix - 7/5/2011, 2:04 PM

6of13 - 7/5/2011, 2:05 PM
Where's Grif with "Man vs Shark"
golden123 - 7/5/2011, 2:08 PM
That is awesome! I've been thinking Adam West deserves a cameo in Nolan's movies.
dmm5 - 7/5/2011, 2:08 PM
Maybe he'll be the.... Mayor? ;) (Family Guy reference)

It'll be funny if there's a scene with the councilmen of Gotham made up of all the past Batman's! From West to Clooney XD
SUPERSP00NS - 7/5/2011, 2:13 PM
POW! THWACK! SHAZAM! Yeahhhh, this'll be straaange to see in a Nolan Batman film... Although, I do love Adam West, so i'm still pretty psyched! To an extent... As long as they don't try to make him the next Stan Lee.
bbarber2323 - 7/5/2011, 2:14 PM

Fogs - 7/5/2011, 2:34 PM
@brazilianbatman - More like

Bale = Poor man with throat cancer

dnno1 - 7/5/2011, 2:38 PM
Isn't that like breaking tradition?
SpiderFan35 - 7/5/2011, 2:45 PM

I don't believe it, too corny for a Nolan movie. "Hollywood big-wigs"? Sounds real professional.
RunDTC - 7/5/2011, 2:47 PM
I knew he was gonna be Robin!
CaptainDC - 7/5/2011, 2:57 PM
LOVE IT, West started Batman, regardless if you take it seriously or goofy. I love how Nolan embraces Batman's legacy, and brings life to the character even more. Good for you Nolan

Jagfan28 - 7/5/2011, 3:02 PM
Older Bruce maybe? I think it would be interesting if he played Mayor Grange like he did on The Batman. Sort of a shout-out.
LP4 - 7/5/2011, 3:08 PM
@marvel72- LMAO!!! Nice video and i agree with you dude- MICHAEL KEATON ALL THE WAY!

But this movie will be great. My top 2 CBMs have been from the start- 'Man of Steel' and 'The Dark Knight Rises'

SageMode - 7/5/2011, 3:35 PM
As long as I dont see BAM, BIFF, POW, BAM, WHAM! on the screen, then i'll be content
manofmidgard - 7/5/2011, 3:38 PM
'bout time adam west got a cameo!

i still hate the new armored, growling, ninja batman tho. so dumb.
Dechiriko - 7/5/2011, 3:42 PM
I'm cheering for Adam to become DC's Stan Lee, seriously.
superbatspiderman - 7/5/2011, 4:11 PM
they should have Kevin Conroy in it too. I don't think I have ever seen him in any live action movie.
skullboy - 7/5/2011, 4:21 PM
@Dechiriko, Maybe that's the idea. Heh

batmanrises - 7/5/2011, 4:31 PM
This is definitely cool. Adam West is part of Batman's legacy. Recognize.
