patriautism - 9/25/2011, 7:44 PM
It is something he is using to hold the cityhostage, that I am almost sure of.. It might have something to do with the floods, like @gamecreatorjj said, it could be an earthquake machine..
cable23 - 9/25/2011, 7:50 PM
I think its an HAARP.
Simply7Muggs - 9/25/2011, 7:54 PM
It looks like the Robot from the Portal video games. Wheatly i think his name was?
Reasonnnn - 9/25/2011, 7:59 PM
It's a meteor of crap like in Joe Dirt.
Nitrogenb - 9/25/2011, 8:01 PM
OMG Bane sounds like a frackin' idiot, dubbed or not.
Greengo - 9/25/2011, 8:05 PM
There will be a MoS easter egg in this movie.
AsianVersionOfET - 9/25/2011, 8:07 PM
dahamma - 9/25/2011, 8:08 PM

AK47 - 9/25/2011, 8:34 PM
Looks like the head of a giant telescope
BooYah - 9/25/2011, 8:41 PM
It's actually not Bane's device at all. It's the space ship Superman was put in to be sent to earth. Its the after credits scene that will take place 20 years in the past :D
Doctorwho22 - 9/25/2011, 8:59 PM
umm...i have a feeling that they have just chucked realism out the window for this movie.
connorblaze - 9/25/2011, 8:59 PM
I must be the only one who thinks Bane's voice sounds wicked. Creepy and different. If he just has some tough guy voice he's just some super strong thug. Gotta make him different.
supernaturalfreak - 9/25/2011, 9:17 PM
looks like a transformer's eye

I´m already seeing the bomb exploding and Batman dying.
NOLANITE - 9/25/2011, 9:44 PM
@knossis and every other fake ass punk who doubts, why doubt stuff that's still in production, don't know the plot or story, what roles the characters play, or really what the movie is about. No clue so why hate? Come the time when the first trailer arrives you all will change your minds. I've said this time to time. And its tiring repeating myself. Whether its bats costume, no cowl, no whip, banes voice, talias secrecy, Robin rumors, the list goes on. Its all part of nolans plan and yall being stupid about it. Just leave Nolan alone and Frick off dickheads. And hate me if you want but its just the truth. Anyone agree with me?
Bladezer0 - 9/25/2011, 10:02 PM
Superman will show up! Trust me! CGI at the end of the movie! Chris and Zach both working on the superman movie, come on, superman have to show up!
Spidey91 - 9/25/2011, 10:46 PM
looks like that interdimensional device thingy from the Event Horizon, only smaller :P
95 - 9/25/2011, 10:53 PM
Oh my God! A character, whose name literally means "destruction", has a "Doomsday Device". This is horrible!!!!
vermillion - 9/25/2011, 11:02 PM
Love the comments with people jumping to conclusions as to what this "device" is. ;)

RidiculousFanBoyDemands - 9/26/2011, 12:27 AM
I wonder if this is wayne tech, like the water vaporizing device in BB. If so, then really it's not the villains making it hard on Bruce, it's his own company.
BlairCo - 9/26/2011, 12:36 AM
Judging from the second image, it goes in the back of the HEMTT.
tripttwe - 9/26/2011, 12:39 AM
I think that the lazarus pit will be tied to the Venom used

by Bane. It was tied to Scarecrow's fear toxin, and I see

this as a reason to bring back Ras. I also think Bane may

be using a device to create Superhuman people that he can

lead as his army of overpowered, chaotic, psychos that run

wild in Gotham city. I think Bane kills Catwoman's

secretary/accomplice, and in doing so turns Selena into an

anti-hero that selfishly helps/ seduces Batman until Bane

stops her and Breaks Bruce. I think Bruce will go to the

Pit to be healed after Ras sees Bane as a threat that is

too big to be left alone. This will bring the story full

circle and make me hate the fact that Heath is not here to

finish what would've been the conclusion to the Greatest

Batman story on film... My two Lincolns...
tripttwe - 9/26/2011, 12:41 AM
PS: On another note: Does anyone else think that Jesse

Eisenberg would be the ONLY good pick to play Harry in

that new Sucky-suit Spider-Man movie?
AC1 - 9/26/2011, 1:49 AM
@Nitrogenb really? You think this Bane sounds stupid? I thought the last Bane was stupid, all he could do was grunt.
BROLY - 9/26/2011, 1:50 AM
this movie is history in the making..
tripttwe - 9/26/2011, 2:05 AM
@ Acira I think he means it's a stupid-sounding voice for the character, whereas the original movie bane was seemingly brainless...
GUNSMITH - 9/26/2011, 3:15 AM

Supes17 - 9/26/2011, 4:27 AM
I wouldn't take him seriously if he was wearing that luchador mask and leotard -_-
Supes17 - 9/26/2011, 4:28 AM
BUT... They could've done a better job with his current costume. Oh well, it's too early to judge an entire film over set pics and vids, so..
