COMICS: First Pages From Geoff Johns and Gary Frank's BATMAN: EARTH ONE Vol 2

DC Comics are set to publish a second volume of Batman: Earth One, the big-selling graphic novel from Geoff Johns and Gary Frank. Well, we have our first look at the penciled artwork. Check it out!

The follow-up to DC's smash-hit graphic novel, Batman: Earth One, released in 2012, sees writer Geoff Johns (Forever Evil, Justice League) and artist Gary Frank (Superman: Secret Origin) reunite for a second volume. We now have our first look at Frank's artwork, which sees classic rogue Killer Croc duel with the Caped Crusader. The book has no current release date, and is one of several Earth One titles to be published in the near future (Wonder Woman and Teen Titans currently slated).

The look in Batman's eyes when he realizes Croc made him drop his phone.

Nobody touches the Batphone! Not even Alfred!

I liked Batman Earth One vol.1, the pace was a little off and was very short. I literally was finished with it in around an hour. I loved the whole direction they went with the Penguin, Lucious Fox and Jim Gordon. Also Alfred was a complete badass!

Looks awesome! I really liked the first one and I'll definitely pick this up. I just wish that the Earth One books would come out a little faster though.

Really didn't expect them to go with Killer Croc. The first volume is widely recognised as being the most realistic version of Batman ever. Moreso than Nolanverse or Miller's Year One. I guess they could go with the skin disease thing. But then, would it look this extreme?
And what happened to The Riddler?
Seriously can't wait, though. Earth One is where it is at.
I do hope they give Bruce a bit more training, though. He is a billionaire, after all. First thing I would do would be to travel the world and pay for training from the world's experts. Maybe one of them could be Ra's Al Ghul.
