Definitely not for everyone, but I actually like the animation–style and the energy of the action.
ScarSpeedster - 8/28/2012, 5:10 PM
That was like the coolest thing i've ever seen
SoFresh - 8/28/2012, 5:11 PM

ArtisticErotic - 8/28/2012, 5:17 PM
I could watch an entire series like this. This is more exciting than the regular Batman.
SpaceRobot - 8/28/2012, 5:23 PM
That was awesome! Needs to be a regular series, NOW!

scrzy - 8/28/2012, 5:37 PM
I'd like to know why people didn't like this. I thought it was very original and I loved the character designs.
Spock - 8/28/2012, 5:40 PM
NOt bad, the time of Wong Fe Hong!
NorrinRaddical - 8/28/2012, 5:41 PM
Jer3miah - 8/28/2012, 5:48 PM
Wow... That was raw as hell. It gave me the same feel of Samurai Champloo. Edgy, ground-breaking animation with a twist. I'll assume that the majority against this are not Anime fans.
Jer3miah Approves!, D'uh...
Ranger14 - 8/28/2012, 6:00 PM
I'm a big anime fan, but not digging this interpretation at all. Different strokes.
thewonderer - 8/28/2012, 6:18 PM
Since when did Batman become Robocop? WTF is with those red eyes

Not a fan of Anime. The animation was beautiful, but jesus this was a whole hell of a lot of What the [frick]ery. Funny how we get pissed when They plan on making an "Americanized" version of Dragon Ball Z or Akira, but its perfectly fine for them to take our ideas and [frick] them up. What a world we live in eh?

"but its perfectly fine for them to take our ideas and [frick] them up"

The difference is that they didn´t [frick] it up , it was good, if you and your gf didn´t like it that´s your problem, the thing here is this, if they were to make a full-lenght live action movie and change everything(like Hollywood did with Dragonball, Tekken, Street Fighter...) about Batman then yes you should bitch, but this was just an experiment.
Battabing - 8/28/2012, 6:22 PM
That was pretty damn cool.
AutobotCommander84 - 8/28/2012, 6:39 PM
That was excellent. I wonder who did the animation. Studio 4c?
Bodwulf - 8/28/2012, 6:48 PM

Some Awesome Stylized Sumi-e Brushstrokes

Samurai Champloo(as Jer3miah said)

BSingerFoxMen - 8/28/2012, 7:02 PM
Looks like sloppy garbage to me! Then again, I truly hate Anime, and Manga.
mctrinket - 8/28/2012, 7:04 PM
Better than TDKR.
SoFresh - 8/28/2012, 7:08 PM

"I love anime and kung fu movies (the Shaw Brothers ones are classics). When they mix all these genres I can't help but flip. Here's to hoping we get more of this short."

You shoud come more often, since it seems to be filled with people that don´t realize that the majority of the studios that animate their favorite cartoons are mostly anime studios.
Supes17 - 8/28/2012, 7:26 PM
I did like how Catwoman's suit was a different color.. Mixing it up lol
CaptainAmerica31 - 8/28/2012, 7:36 PM
[frick] this Chinese shit
BlackfuryRises - 8/28/2012, 8:25 PM
That was really cool. Screw Beware the Batman give us this. (IMO anyway.)
superotherside - 8/28/2012, 8:25 PM
I liked it. It's different. Still kinda cool. They do have some amazing action scenes as well. Sad that's pretty much it though.
Ship - 8/28/2012, 8:32 PM
Looks cool.
Judecheung - 8/28/2012, 9:06 PM
I lIke it.
Nice action and nice research on Chinese things.
MovieTheaterLad - 8/28/2012, 9:13 PM
I find it funny how only three-four people in this thread knew this cartoon came from China.

Anyway, I think that many of the people complaining either truly don't appreciate Barman for being, essentially, THE most versatile character in modern fiction, nor do they appreciate quality animation. the animation team that made this is only comprised of a handful of people, and yet they managed to put together a cartoon that is more superbly animated than the vast majority of animation here.

Seriously, be like the world's greatest detective, and get a [frick]ing clue.
MarkV - 8/28/2012, 9:33 PM
well worth seeing, if you haven't watched it yet...very quick and well done
felixxx - 8/28/2012, 9:41 PM
TO MOST OF YOU: I wish most of you people would walk out in traffic. You have no taste in art, movies, comics or animation. Racist whiney babies that cant stand anything original. YOU SUCK!
That was an fresh take on Batman with beatiful animation that involved REAL martial arts. Its good to see there are a few people who appriciate art in here. The talent put into that was twice the talent and imagination that Nohlan put in TDK. Keep sucking his balls people cause thats all your good for.
Dont bother responding im not going to come back to this thread and I dont care what you no talent ass clowns have to say any way
MisterBabadook - 8/28/2012, 9:58 PM
Yeah This would make a great animated film.
REDSTORM - 8/28/2012, 10:37 PM
I'm not a big fan of anime styled cartoons, but I enjoyed this short. I'm up for different takes of Batman. It reminded me of Gotham Knight, which was also pretty fun.
xXkryptoniteXx - 8/28/2012, 11:17 PM
I like the animation and the artistic style they did, diffently better then marvel's Japanese animated series. It still isn't my cup of tea.
