According to Bleeding Cool, during the DC All Access at Wondercon panel, the audience was told that the highly anticipated Batman: Arkham Knight is no longer being released in October 2014, but it has been pushed to an unannounced date in 2015. The short announcement was made after a trailer featuring voiceover by Thomas Wayne reciting his “last will and testament” was shown but no reasons were given for the delay. Take this news with a grain of salt since this delay hasn’t been officially announced and the official site for Batman: Arkham Knight still says "coming on 2014."

If true, I for one hope that the extra time will give them the chance to deliver a higher quality product, perhaps WB learned it’s a lesson  after all the issues that Arkham Origins had upon its resale last year. What do you think about this news? What effect do you think will have on the game? Will a delay discourage you from purchasing it? Leave your opinion down below and thank you for reading.

Update: According to furiousfanboys.com, the delay announcement was nothing but a misunderstanding.

DC showed the Blur Studios’ CG trailer for Arkham Knight, which earned a lot of cheers and applause. It was pretty loud, so you can’t blame someone for not hearing what came next, but it wasn’t an Arkham Knight delay.

While people were applauding and cheering, they specifically say that Batman: Arkham Knight would be released later this year. After that statement is what most people didn’t hear, and they said to prepare for the return of Injustice. The “not a 2014 title” statement applied to the new Injustice, not the Batman sequel. No other details about the new Injustice, such as who is developing it, was revealed but it is apparently on the way…just not this year.”

Boy, they're really screwing the Bat-Hound on this 75th anniversary, aren't they? And after such an epic 50th, too.
Who's running this show? So many opportunities. Lack of respect. That's what it is. For the character and the potential financial gain.
If somebody working for you has no respect for making money, fire them.

Crisis averted!

I can only take one delay from DC right now and not another one.

No mention of it in the source? Don't see it anywhere else...

Don't think this is true
charlie2094 - 4/24/2014, 7:23 AM
Just done some digging, this isn't true. It was for an Injustice comic series, not Arkham Knight.

Another Injustice??? YASSSSSSSS!
GoILL - 4/24/2014, 7:26 AM

Ah good. Still on for 2014.
They should still fire everyone. They could all do more.
