THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Advanced IMAX Tickets Selling For $200+ On eBay!

THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Advanced IMAX Tickets Selling For $200+ On eBay!

That's more than 1,000 percent above their original selling price of $17.50. Sure hope TDKR turns out to be the epic cinematic moment everyone is hoping for.

Last week, I reported that Fandango was selling advanced tickets for the midnight screening for The Dark Knight Rises in New York, L.A. and San Francisco. Now, [unsurprisingly] some of those tickets have turned up on third-party selling sites like eBay and craigslist. However, what is a tad bit surprising is the price. Tickets are being sold and bought for roughly $200-$250 for the chance to see the film at midnight. I'm a big Batman fan myself but it will be a cold day in hell before I shell out $200 for a movie ticket, let alone for a movie that one could easily see the next day for regular price.

Tickets also were seen on New York City's Craig's List for $97 to $100.

It's not that serious. If you could wait 4 years, a few more days or weeks after its release won't hurt.

If you are stupid enough to pay that amount then let's make sure you don't breed and infect others.

Anyone who would pay that much to see the midnight showing in SF honestly Deserves to spend the following several hours afterwards wandering around Market St like a hobo until BART opens in the morning

$17.50? Now I am glad I never saw any real motion pictures in the solo IMAX.
