New Promo Images Of CATWOMAN & BANE From TDKR

Some new theater standees reveal a brand new look at two of Batman's foes from Christopher Nolan's upcoming threequel. The Bane one is familiar enough, but check out Catwoman brandishing a gun..

As you can see the image is a bit on the small side, but here are a few theater standees from TDKR. They reveal new looks at Bane and Catwoman..



Seems that gun wasn't just a toy accessory. We will try to find larger images to update with.

The Dark Knight Rises is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy. Leading an all-star international cast, Oscar winner Christian Bale again plays the dual role of Bruce Wayne/Batman. The film also stars Anne Hathaway, as Selina Kyle; Tom Hardy, as Bane; Oscar winner Marion Cotillard, as Miranda Tate; and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, as John Blake. Returning to the main cast, Oscar winner Michael Caine plays Alfred; Gary Oldman is Commissioner Gordon; and Oscar winner Morgan Freeman reprises the role of Lucius Fox. The screenplay is written by Christopher Nolan and Jonathan Nolan, story by Christopher Nolan & David S. Goyer.

That image of Batman is based on one of Jim lee's drawings from HUSH when he's walking out of the cave. somebody post it! :)

The only thing Nolan can't get right in his Batman movies are the underdeveloped and miscast female leads. Go back and watch BEGINS right now and tell me Katie Holmes isn't the most wretched part of that great movie. Gyllenhaal was a step up, but still the weakest link of TDK. Hathaway will continue the trend. He had such an opportunity to cast a memorable actress in a classic role and he gives it to The Princes Diaries, who has the range of a wet paper bag.

If they wanted 'realism' Nolan should've given Hathaway a cowl. It's much more practical than her hair flying around everywhere.

Still not too convinced for Hathaway as Catwoman but I'm ready to be pleasantly surprised!

I see Warner isnt afraid to show the sexy side of the character, even if Nolan and his universe is more "serious".

She's used a gun before. Killed the Black Mask with one. I'm guessing that Catwoman is not going to just jump into the story fully formed like the Joker was, but have some development from Selina Kyle into Catwoman like Dent/Two-Face. I wouldn't be surprised if she's never called "Catwoman" in this.

Who is to say if she won't use the whip at some point. I don't particularly care if she does and I gotta agree with @thewonderer that a whip wouldn't work that well in a more realistic take on the character. I really can't see a reason for her to have one and what use it would be. The comics and games are one thing, but not everyone can rock a whip like Indiana jones on film, lol.

Yeah I played Arkham City. Her antics are laughable. She makes Two Face look like a bitch, dresses like a slut, and can use her whip to climb buildings. WTF maybe in a game only

Green Arrow when through Archery training persumably, and Batman trains as well.

How the hell do you train someone to use a whip to climb buildings, QUICKLY attach around guns and knifes. It doesn't make no sense
