Revealing New Stills From THE DARK KNIGHT RISES

A new batch of stills from The Dark Knight Rises offer up an intriguing look at Selina Kyle (Anne Hathaway) in a very compromising position, while the rest feature everyone from Bane to Miranda Tate and John Blake.

Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ "The Dark Knight Rises" is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. The screenplay is written by Christopher Nolan and Jonathan Nolan, story by Christopher Nolan & David S. Goyer. The film is produced by Emma Thomas, Christopher Nolan and Charles Roven, who previously teamed on “Batman Begins” and the record-breaking blockbuster "The Dark Knight." The executive producers are Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Kevin De La Noy and Thomas Tull, with Jordan Goldberg serving as co-producer. The film is based upon characters appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. Batman was created by Bob Kane.

Several critics have said talking about Blake will give a lot away. So theres something more to the character.

I'm sure I heard Marion Cotillard say her role is only small,
she seems to be appearing A LOT (yaaay)
and it seems JGL is having scenes with basically all of the cast.

HMMM ... INDEED!

I'm still dying to see some images of Juno Temple ... they have said nothing much about her at all!

What on Earth is going on in this movie?! I have been trying to piece it together but it doesn't make any sense. I am so incredibly pumped to see the story.

If this movie wasn't directed by Chris Nolan, I would almost suspect John Blake of being a young Ra's...

It looks like this film is going to have a lot of us shaking our heads in surprise. Nolan and company have played it right, just showing enough to keep us getting more excited and intrigued the closer the release date approaches. Love it, cannot wait!

That was a pretty fancy get-up she was wearing in those early leaked set photos for being just a love interest. But we'll find out quite soon I guess.

Not revealing enough. I'm sure most of you people are tired of the complaints about Bane size, but just look how everybody in the robbery pic have to be siting, lying on the ground or on their knees so Bane doesn't look too small; the evil henchmen of the left looks like he's a lot taller than Bane even being on his knees.

Deadly serious, that or it's just that the composition of the shot tried to symbolize the power of Bane over the citizen of Gotham, cause he is the largest human figure in the shot, also in the center, in the higher position and eventually everyone is looking just at him, that would make sense since he's the head of the thieves, but notice how none of his henchmen are around, on their feet pointing guns at the hostages. But I will go for my former theory that is because he's too short.

I think some of you have taken DanteSparda wrongly here; he's not really poking fun, rather, explaining the shots and why Bane is positioned like so. Sure, the height could play a factor, but let us not forget how symbology is a big part of film.


Bane doesn't need to be 7ft tall to be threatening anyways. The scary part is his cut throat methods and mask that renders him impervious to pain.

i think the word you are looking for is symbolism ;)

I personally have no problems with Bane not being the biggest in his entourage. In real life, strength alone doesn't make you powerful. Muscles don't mean squat if you don't have flexibility, stamina, dexterity, and speed. Which, from the trailers, seems like Bane has these traits coming in spades. +7 gem of awesomeness.

I don't know what Marion Cortilard character is BUT she is certainly MORE than Marinda Tate!
Cuz in the press interview (done in August & released NOW) the Costume Designer let that slip that Marion has a change of character in the Climax!
So those LEAGUE of SHADOWS kinda costume will in the End!
But she 10000% more than Marinda Tate!!


& I think this Salina image is probably of time when Police captures her!
Cuz of lights surrounding her are of Policemen's guns!!

When Bane says "im Gothams Reckoning" he sounds like Yoda.

Also, I can't explain why but Anne Hathaway just looks like she smells. I hate everything about her. I really like this trilogy but it has a real problem casting females (except Marion, I love her) and voice direction.

That being said, I can't wait to see this.
