One of the best parts of The Dark Knight Rises was the film's terrific score from Hans Zimmer and the exquisite sound work to accompany it. Down below, check out a nine-minute behind the scenes look at the music and sound of the film, including interviews with composer Hans Zimmer and sound editor/designer Richard King.

WHY the BANE CHANT isn't part of soundtrack?!?
It's in few tracks!
But I want a complete THEME track of this!!

It was AWESOME!

I hope & wish he makes a GREAT really GREAT SUPERMAN theme.

I'm hoping the blu ray is chalk full of special features like Batman Begins. TDK was severely lacking in that category, though understandably so.

Amazing trilogy through all aspects. Not perfect, but still amazing. I'm no Nolanite, but I know good film making when I see it. I can't wait to see what Nolan conjurs up in the coming years, I'm very excited.

Has someone posters this yet? It's from cosmic book news

Now in an article that first appeared in The Hollywood Reporter Magazine, and has since been made available on its website, we get a confirmation that everything will be connected.

Or at least that is the plan.

In THR's update for the Warner Bros. films, they note how Christopher Nolan's Batman film trilogy came to a close with The Dark Knight Rises, and mention the direction Warner Bros. may take with Batman.

Warners will try to resuscitate Batman as a stand-alone franchise and/or as part of a planned Justice League ensemble that could connect to next summer's Man of Steel.
While nothing specific was mentioned by THR, regarding Batman we were told by a DC Entertainment insider that a new Batman movie is slated for some time around 2016 following the Justice League movie; that it will not be an origin story, but will feature a Batman who is entering his second year as a hero, with the title tentatively named "The Batman."

And the new Batman movie will be set within the same universe as the Justice League movie and the Man of Steel, with new Superman Henry Cavill to star in both.

In addition to the mention of a connected universe with the Justice League, Batman and Superman, it's been rumored that Wonder Woman may cameo in the new Man of Steel movie as well.

Well theres ur answer about Bane's voice and why it sounded different from the time span between the prologue to actual film, they raised the volume of it to be more understandable and it is Hardy performing the voice. Now sum people need to stop complaining and trust these people had good intentions in what the final voice came out to be.

I was more impress with the dark knight score more then the dark knight rises, cause it sounds the same and there was nothing new hans Zimmer can do to make it different. He did push new sounds for the dark knight and screw the oscars for not letting him win. I bought the CD regardless cause I love music scores that are good, I especially liked Gotham's reckoning. With that being said TDKR's official soundtrack gets a 4/5 in my book.
