On Thursday, August 30, Mondo will release a new limited edition poster called 'The Batcave'. The poster, created by artist JC Richard, is 20" x 29" and is a limited edition of 500. As you can see it features various classic items that Batman - pictured being his usual cheerful self - has acquired over the years. Awesome piece. Captures the epic story telling of the character and the loneliness of the man.
MidKnight35 - 8/28/2012, 9:46 AM
This one is cool and all, just not worth $50.
SimyJo - 8/28/2012, 10:00 AM
$50? - ehh, wow.

Its not a limited edition Giclée or anything is it?, just a limited print-run of 500?.
Not worth $50 imho.

Im a big Batman fan but I just gotta ask whats up with the dinosaur? Did Batman fight 1 in the Golden Age or something? My mind is running a blank on that, seriously whats the origin of it?
jessepostal - 8/28/2012, 10:16 AM
Does it come framed for that price??
gaikinger - 8/28/2012, 10:29 AM

He does? Cool, send one in and we'll feature it.

Bigears, as a huge Batman fan I am a little ashamed to admit that I don't know the origin of the T-Rex either. Was it ever brought up in the comics? I guess he just likes dinosaurs!
Fastestmanalive - 8/28/2012, 10:38 AM
That is really cool. He got the mood and the grandness spot on. Great job.

xXkryptoniteXx - 8/28/2012, 11:50 AM

UrbanKnight - 8/28/2012, 4:04 PM
Not the giant penny! Lol.
ThatOneDude - 8/28/2012, 4:08 PM
I like this... it kinda shows off the loneliness that Batman really does feel
skidz - 8/28/2012, 7:48 PM
I think Nolan missed out on a LOT of emotional content by not using any of this in the batcave. Think about how much this represents the childhood he can't have back.
