Adam Driver Reportedly A Frontrunner To Play 'Nightwing' In BATMAN VS SUPERMAN

Seemingly confirming the inclusion of Bruce Wayne's "former" sidekick, the trades are reporting that actor Adam Driver is on Warner's radar for the Dick Grayson role in Batman Vs. Superman.

Just days after Latino Review broke the news that Dick Grayson a.k.a Nightwing would be joining his "former sidekick" Batman in Zack Snyder's Man of Steel sequel, The Wrap is now reporting that Warner Bros. is eyeing actor Adam Driver for the part. The 29-year-old thespian is best known for his role on the HBO series Girls, and has appeared in Lincoln and J. Edgar. Though Driver is a "serious" contender to play Nightwing , the source notes that "at least two other actors may be in the mix". Anyhow, It was mentioned that Dick Grayson has "been estranged from Bruce Wayne for years" in Batman Vs. Superman. And as reported earlier this week, actresses Olga Kurylenko, Gal Gadot, and Elodie Yung are in contention for the female lead who's believed to be Wonder Woman. With Zack Snyder during the film, Batman Vs. Superman stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane, and is slated for release July 17, 2015! What do you think?

JoshWilding - 11/8/2013, 4:45 PM
Between this and those possible candidates for Wonder Woman, Batman Vs. Superman's cast is not looking good. This guy is talented, but Nightwing?! Can't see it.
DaenerysTargaryen - 11/8/2013, 4:46 PM No offense to that dude...but Nightwing is supposed to be hot. This no

Weirdly, I could see him as Nightwing.
MrCBM56 - 11/8/2013, 4:54 PM
Is this even MOS 2 anymore? Too many Batman characters being incorporated and WW is in the mix! Sigh. I truly believed this movie would be great. It's direction it's taking tells me it's going to fail. HARD.

Some of you are pricks. Pretty sure night wing isn't defined by his looks. He's handsome in his own way. How about the people calling him ugly post pics of yourselves, see who's ugly than.
Dev - 11/8/2013, 4:58 PM
Why not just make a Batman movie instead? Drop the 2 deadweights though Synder and Goyer.

I honestly don't think they could have picked (or possibly picked) someone worse, this guy is ugly, and to skinny
ColonelKilgore - 11/8/2013, 5:04 PM
I have no idea who that is. Since I'm a fanboy its my job to say he sucks. He will be terrible.

Ocelot - 11/8/2013, 5:07 PM
I can actually see this happening. The picture that was originally used was absolutely terrible and downright atrocious, he looks better in these pics as opposed to the one where he looked like Adrian Brody who just suffered from a stroke.

Dont know how good his acting is though, never even heard of him.
JDUKE25 - 11/8/2013, 5:08 PM
This dude is just.....

THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - 11/8/2013, 5:08 PM
What the [frick].

DCCU reboot 2020! HERE WE COME
Irons - 11/8/2013, 5:09 PM
A six foot three former Marine, Emmy-nominated, guy who worked with Spielberg, Eastwood and the Coen Brothers is being considered to play Nightwing... but no. The fanboys want to comment about his looks. Because they are Abercrombie models. Clearly.
Spideyguy94 - 11/8/2013, 5:11 PM
The more I hear about this movie the less interested I get.
Prime - 11/8/2013, 5:11 PM
Dude is too tall too. Sorry. Wan seem to not give a shit about getting this movie right.
CapFan79 - 11/8/2013, 5:11 PM
I just read a funny comment. "Dick Grayson? More like Dick-face Son!"

This mother [frick]er is ugly!
sanyaya - 11/8/2013, 5:11 PM
Adam Driver I don't even know who the [frick] that dude is.

THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - 11/8/2013, 5:12 PM

Comic characters are supposed to look like "abercrombie models"
Nick56 - 11/8/2013, 5:13 PM
1. The movie is a Batman and Superman movie not just a Superman sequel
2. Too crowed? The only 2 confirmed are Bats and Supes. At most there will be Nightwing (which makes sense given that Batman is older) and a cameo from Wonder Woman.
3. While this guy isn't the most handsome guy, who gives a shit? Nightwing's role will likely be minimal and he will likely have a mask on anyways
4. This guy might not even be cast as there are apparently 2 others in the mix
5. This is still a [frick]ing rumour! Nothing is confirmed!
