Ben Affleck Looks Ready To Take On Gotham Nights In These Recent Sitings

Our new Batman himself, Mr Affleck was spotted in town sight seeing with his daughter. Has the actor gotten into suitable shape to play the caped crusader in Zack Snyder's Man Of Steel sequel? Find out for yourselves after the jump.

Ben Affleck seems to be taking his work out very seriously for the upcoming Batman/Superman flick. In this picture taken a few days ago the actor shows off his increasingly growing muscles due to his work out program.

Still not impressed? Check out Mr. Affleck's muscles showing through his suit in this video taken just 6 hours ago when he met with Senator John Kerry at the state department.

So what do you think? Are you impressed at his dedication to producing a comic accurate physiology for his character?

Sound off below!

ManofSteel23 - 2/27/2014, 10:04 AM
Hes built better for the role than bale, even though bale has muscles,it didnt look like it through the suit, and his face always looks thin, affleck will be great
Nomis - 2/27/2014, 10:07 AM
Dude's Buff!
EvilSuperman - 2/27/2014, 10:08 AM
Looks like Bruce Wayne to me. As long as he leaves his stamp on the film, then I'll know I like it!
Starfox - 2/27/2014, 10:10 AM
I believed in Affleck from the beginning, He will no doubt own this.
Highflyer - 2/27/2014, 10:11 AM

TheClemster - 2/27/2014, 10:37 AM
I have faith in the man

You go benny
Pasto - 2/27/2014, 10:38 AM
I wouldn't want to cross him in a dark alley.
HeisenbergSaysRelax - 2/27/2014, 10:43 AM
Grab your forks, everyone. Soon you will have words to eat.

Ben Affleck will kill it.
JediPhilosopher - 2/27/2014, 10:43 AM
To be honest, despite my initial reflex outrage, he looks more like Batman than any actor who's played him yet imo.
CommanderShepard - 2/27/2014, 10:44 AM
Arms are huge!! Hope he does well in the part even though I hate is politics!
JediPhilosopher - 2/27/2014, 10:46 AM
Now, my remaining worries: Batman's costume, WonderWoman, the character of Superman, a better amount of good humor (because superhero movies should be fun), and Lex Luthor.
batcheeks8 - 2/27/2014, 10:46 AM
Why are people posting old pictures when he updated his facebook page with these like 2 hours ago:

JediPhilosopher - 2/27/2014, 10:48 AM
I used to hate his politics, but I've gradually learned I hate all politics. And I suspect many people are starting to do the same.
batcheeks8 - 2/27/2014, 10:49 AM
his efforts for Congo are admirable
Highflyer - 2/27/2014, 10:49 AM
My initial was complete shock. Not because that hated this choice, but because I didn't think Ben would even WANT this role due to the past (Daredevil director's cut was awesome imo) I don't know if I'm the only one here who thinks this but I feel like Ben has already played Batman in the Town. Trust me, the guy will amaze you as Batman.
Nomis - 2/27/2014, 10:50 AM
Man, I hope we get an unshaven version of Batman! :)

JediPhilosopher - 2/27/2014, 10:52 AM
Meeting with John Kerry... That's troubling that he still is hanging around such people. Whoah, this comment is sure to divide [shrug]
JediPhilosopher - 2/27/2014, 10:53 AM
I guess one doesn't remain influential without hanging around the powerful. The whole world is corrupt.
Moohika - 2/27/2014, 10:55 AM
Go Batfleck! Now let me see that suit.
Jolllem - 2/27/2014, 10:56 AM
Will be the best Batman. I hope they respect the source unlike Nolan
batcheeks8 - 2/27/2014, 10:58 AM
It amazes me how quickly people are retracting their initial kneejerk reaction to Batfleck now that he's getting buff and they can focus all their body shaming hate on Gal Gadot. So shallow.
RexDartEskimoSpy - 2/27/2014, 10:58 AM
Yeah, meeting with the Secretary of State? What a loser. He should be out killing wild animals with Ted Nugent.
JediPhilosopher - 2/27/2014, 10:59 AM
We want our superheroes to look right. :) Almost if not just as important as acting right.
Fishandchips - 2/27/2014, 10:59 AM
Actually has got pretty massive, props to Affleck.
ALmazing - 2/27/2014, 11:04 AM
I think what it is important is that he uses his celebrity to casts spotlight on the situation in the Congo. I respect him for that... and he looks very Bruce Wayneish on that clip too.
batz11 - 2/27/2014, 11:06 AM
Nomis, yeah, I want the scruffy look too...
Klone - 2/27/2014, 11:06 AM
I can get behind Affleck. Growing more confident in him.
AntMan - 2/27/2014, 11:09 AM

I think Jollem's taking the mickey.
kevberg - 2/27/2014, 11:09 AM
Hes starting to get some BULK to his muscles.. shows he s really training.

Cool that he's taking it seriously.
Klone - 2/27/2014, 11:14 AM
Do these actors all skip squats and deadlifts though?
cosmicman - 2/27/2014, 11:19 AM
