Henry Cavill Sports 'Clark Kent' Disguise In Latest BATMAN V SUPERMAN Set Photos

His stand-in was last seen wearing the trademark glasses and slicked back hair, but the Man of Steel himself, Henry Cavill, has now been spotted on the Dawn of Justice set in full his Clark Kent disguise.

Breaking News: actor acts.
We'll bring you developments as they happen.
batz11 - 8/29/2014, 11:22 AM
seriously though, don't you think the Clark Kent persona should go away? My [frick]ing cell phone has face recognition software, in today's world, there is no way a different hair style and glasses would protect his identity in anyway...
CaptainObvious - 8/29/2014, 11:24 AM
@batz11- It is a silly disguise. But there really isn't another way to work around it, so we'll just have to accept it.
ekrolo2 - 8/29/2014, 11:25 AM

Pretty much, Superman adopting a costume similar to his Futures End one with a full helmet & mask covering his head would certainly fix the issue.
SauronsBANE - 8/29/2014, 11:25 AM
I'm really hoping there's more screentime devoted to Clark Kent this time around. Pretty much the only time I actually smiled in Man of Steel was the ending, with him putting on his glasses on the elevator.

I kind of wish they'd forget about the whole "realism" thing and just let everyone continue to be fooled by a haircut and hipster glasses...but I guess they already backed themselves into this corner already, oh well.
BlackIceJoe - 8/29/2014, 11:29 AM
I wonder what reason Clark Kent will be in Gotham for? I could maybe see it being for the Gotham vs Metropolis Football game.
ekrolo2 - 8/29/2014, 11:30 AM
Reasonnnn - 8/29/2014, 11:30 AM
Woah Superman looks so different. It has to be the shampoo
GreenLantern519 - 8/29/2014, 11:31 AM

If he's at the Gotham City Jail I doubt he's there for a football game.
Pasto - 8/29/2014, 11:31 AM
Sexiness spotted on set of Batman v Superman.
MercwithMouth - 8/29/2014, 11:36 AM
What MODOK monitor in TWS? I haven't seen it, so it's a legitimate question. But if you're referring to Zola in a computer monitor...then wow...
ekrolo2 - 8/29/2014, 11:36 AM

That's true, though its still a good way for regular Supes to keep his identity a secret, certainly better than the glasses one which is highly improbable today.
SauronsBANE - 8/29/2014, 11:38 AM
@MantiniuMan, Ever hear the phrase: "Only speak when spoken to"?

You should look into that.
CommanderShepard - 8/29/2014, 11:42 AM
So is she pregnant with Superman's baby?
TheRationalNerd - 8/29/2014, 11:42 AM
Dag, I hate knowing those small tidbits "Clark talking to the pregnant urban woman" might be a pretty good emotional/compassionate scene.
SauronsBANE - 8/29/2014, 11:43 AM
...Why do you think you know so much about my sex life? It's bordering on unhealthy, man. Devote your time to something much less creepy.

Like your continued obsession with giving Snyder and Nolan handjobs at every possible opportunity.
LubedUp - 8/29/2014, 11:45 AM
If they don't somehow erase Lois' memory this film will be as bad as MoS characterization wise.
SauronsBANE - 8/29/2014, 11:47 AM
@CommanderShepard, Uh oh, it's Superman Returns all over again haha
MrBlackJack - 8/29/2014, 11:47 AM
If you look at what the actors and extras are wearing it's fall/winter attire. In some set pics there's also what appears to be some Christmas-y decoration lights. It's looking like BvS will take place in the winter/fall. ChrisB from Batman-News also said that he heard BvS will take place during that time. Also, the restaurant from the comics where Luthor offered a woman a million dollars to live with him for a month, then publicly nitpicked and tore her down is set up for the film, it's just that no pics have made their way onto this site yet. With that exact restaurant being set up I wouldn't be surprised if they put that scene in the film.
DrKinsolving - 8/29/2014, 11:48 AM

You have to watch Cap: TWS.... Great movie, my favorite so far of 2014
DrunkenNukem - 8/29/2014, 11:50 AM
So Clark goes to Gotham chasing the story of the vigilante
Dingbat - 8/29/2014, 11:50 AM
Clark Kent is a pretty good disguise compared to MODOK in Iron Man TAS:

What a terrible show that was
SauronsBANE - 8/29/2014, 11:52 AM
@MantiniuMan, Shhhhhhh....

DrunkenNukem - 8/29/2014, 11:52 AM
@BlackJack yeah that makes sense...winter is coming...and the production ends in 2015...
WYLEEJAY - 8/29/2014, 11:53 AM
Haha! Ammonium just tried to crack on The Winter Soldier and he cant even get the characters right. He must be malfunctioning. Damn Troll-putron 2.0 needs a warranty claim. Hes busted.

Dizzzzneyyyyyyyyyyyy............zzzzttttt............level 111111.............................bbbzzzzzzzztttttttt.......prinzzzzzzzzzzeezzzzzzz....................
DrKinsolving - 8/29/2014, 11:53 AM
I wouldn't mind seeing a little more Kent, we really didn't see him at all yet.... I'm also not sure if there were any pictures taken of Superman's face, so it could still be realistic that nobody would recognize him.... either way, I like the idea of Clark Kent, can't wait for this movie
WYLEEJAY - 8/29/2014, 11:54 AM
Lol ammonium was supposed to say Mantinium. Damn phone.
Floke - 8/29/2014, 11:54 AM
That is not Cavill because Cavill does not have glasses.
MercwithMouth - 8/29/2014, 11:56 AM
I still wanna know about this MODOK monitor in TWS...I mean, if Mantinium says it's there, it must be there.
Indy - 8/29/2014, 11:57 AM
Cool I Hope we get to see Clark doing some investigating reporting.
SauronsBANE - 8/29/2014, 12:00 PM
This isn't a MoS article, and my very first comment here was actually pretty optimistic about Batman v Superman. Not sure where you're getting "Oh its so crap they just ruined it all..." from. If you're going to troll, at least be an entertaining troll.

Darth258 - 8/29/2014, 12:01 PM

It was Arnim Zola, Mant thinks the two characters are the same character. There's no Modok in TWS
Dingbat - 8/29/2014, 12:02 PM

I think he means the Zola monitor.
yossarian - 8/29/2014, 12:03 PM
DrunkenNukem - 8/29/2014, 12:04 PM
Still using the same clothes eh?

need to go shopping, Clark.
Darth258 - 8/29/2014, 12:05 PM
Wonder who's in jail... probably Lois broke into Wayne Industries or some Luthor Corp. Gotham subsidiary and got caught..
DrunkenNukem - 8/29/2014, 12:06 PM

Go shopping!
neihofft - 8/29/2014, 12:07 PM
People forget Clark Kent is kind of a nobody. Its not like everyone in the world is looking at him.
MrBlackJack - 8/29/2014, 12:08 PM
WTF! I've tried 5 times to post the same comment and it won't work!

Putting the film in the winter will help recreate The Dark Knight Returns atmosphere, especially the big fight.
WYLEEJAY - 8/29/2014, 12:08 PM
See.....He's broken.
