We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead.

It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.

JediPhilosopher - 12/10/2013, 5:54 AM
But anyway, I have mixed feelings about Gal Gadot as WW. She is beautiful, but just in a different way than I think WW should be. But, we'll see. This movie already isn't going to be my ideal just because of what it's proceeding. I mean Man of Steel got some things right that no Superman movie before it has, but other things it got very wrong. And I guess it depends on whether you're a long-time Superman fan or not.
MightyZeus - 12/10/2013, 5:56 AM
I think Gal would kick all our asses for dissing her since she was in the armed forces.
MightyZeus - 12/10/2013, 5:59 AM
You people are insane.
SuperCat - 12/10/2013, 6:00 AM
She's sexy in that video ^^
JediPhilosopher - 12/10/2013, 6:03 AM
Batz11, I don't know if that video convinced me she'll be great as WW, but it did convince me she's ####ing hot. :P
Gjedi - 12/10/2013, 6:11 AM

I have mixed feelings too, but in a sense about her acting. May be she will nail it, who knows. My problem is she good enough to carry a franchise after MOS2, if they decide to make WW standalone. I'll guess it all depends on MOS2. comicbook fans and the average moviegoer will either like it or hate it, lets see. But I have my fingers crossed that MOS2 will do great in 2015, because if they blow it, well DC films.. DEAD for next ten years,
Omarvls - 12/10/2013, 6:21 AM
The biggest news of all is that it's really a Justice League movie
GodzillaKart - 12/10/2013, 6:23 AM
It doesn't bother me that Gadot isn't hot. What bothers me is that she looks weak and fragile.

It's almost offensive that they went with an emaciated supermodel to play a character that has become an icon of feminism and strong womanhood.
BruceWayneNewton - 12/10/2013, 6:27 AM
She is too fine! I think she will rock it but I'm way more excited about the Martian Manhunter rumor! This movie will most likely be the most epic CBM we have seen. Make it 3 hours and blow our minds!

I think WW casting happened a little bit like this

ALmazing - 12/10/2013, 6:49 AM
Here is another model that was considered

ALmazing - 12/10/2013, 6:51 AM
And here are some of the outfits being considered
ALmazing - 12/10/2013, 6:52 AM
Justice League Begins is going to be a great looking fashion show.
ALmazing - 12/10/2013, 8:04 AM
@blackandyellow -What joke? I am really exited about Wonder WoMEN in Man of Steel 2: Battle the Wise Older Knight in the Darkness of Black Night at the Blackest Darkest Hour Within, aka Justice League Begins.
Dmon - 12/10/2013, 8:57 AM
Me and the new Wonder Woman:

justice league unlimited etrigan the demon gif
GodzillaKart - 12/10/2013, 9:11 AM
@ALmight: Actually, I thought your joke was spot on. I hope we are both proven wrong, but right now Gadot seems like the worst CBM casting since Topher Grace was cast as Eddie Brock.
Dmon - 12/10/2013, 9:16 AM
@Godzillafart She was in the military so I thinks its unfair to just call her some supermodel. Also when has Snyder ever done bad casting?
GodzillaKart - 12/10/2013, 9:27 AM
@Dmon: Everyone in Israel has to spend 2 mandatory years in the military. She spent her military time as a fitness instructor. Nothing wrong with that, but it hardly proves her to be anything but a supermodel.

I will agree, however, for all his faults, Snyder's casting is usually fantastic. Again, this casting seems terrible, but I hope I am proven wrong.
ALmazing - 12/10/2013, 9:32 AM
@Godzillafart-Am all for being proven wrong. Plus Gadot's interpretation can't be any worse than this.

@Dmon- All Israeli citizens must serve and she was just a fitness instructor. Matthew Goode as Ozymandias was pretty bad casting.
ALmazing - 12/10/2013, 9:33 AM
@Godzillafart, that was serendipitous.
GodzillaKart - 12/10/2013, 9:36 AM
@Almight: Holy shit! That was fantastically terrible!
GodzillaKart - 12/10/2013, 9:37 AM
The video, that is! Yes, great minds and all that!
ALmazing - 12/10/2013, 9:41 AM
@Godzillafart, I know right, what scares me is that THAT lady might have more acting range that Gadot does.
Dmon - 12/10/2013, 9:44 AM
@ALmight and Godzillafart it is true that it is mandatory but I am sure there is still some Mental and physical conditioning and also people that wash out or just can't hack it.
GodzillaKart - 12/10/2013, 9:52 AM
@Dmon: In those situations, they find a role that is appropriate for the individual. In Gadot's case, she was a fitness instructor.
ALmazing - 12/10/2013, 10:00 AM
@Dmon-She has experienced handling weapons which is why she cast on her F&F role, which is fine because she was meant to be the "hot gilr" in those movies. I still think WW deserved something a little better, but like Godzillafart stated, she has been already cast, I am going to watch it when it comes out, and I'm hoping I am wrong about Gadot.
Dmon - 12/10/2013, 10:48 AM
@Godzillafart and ALmight I see what you are saying but I was in the military and there are all kinds of jobs from what I did Machine Gunner to Audio/Video (lol) and even though I was a grunt and loved to give POGS a hard time, you still have to go through Boot Camp. I saw really skinny guys do a lot better in some of the more physical training then the bigger guys the "O" coarse for example and humps (hikes). In my platoon in boot camp we even had a big muscular former football player wash out being small or big has nothing to do with it. The Marines which I was in mostly train you for speed and endurance which is mostly cardio not weight lifting/ body building.

I do question how much Gal could put in her pack lol but the skinny guys can surprise you.
ALmazing - 12/10/2013, 11:17 AM
@Godzillafart-I think you might misunderstand what my compliant is, I have no issues with her physicality, I'm more than confident that she will somehow get in better shape by the time she starts shooting, and even if she doesn't that's not the point. My compliant is about her acting ability and since I can only go by what what she has done so far, I have to say that I can't foresee her portrayal of Diana being great. I foresee her portrayal being pretty much the same girl she plays in the F&F movies, the tough hot girl with an exotic accent. Now any actor can be made to look the part, but a model with no acting range can only be made look the part but not act the part.
GodzillaKart - 12/10/2013, 11:41 AM
@ALmight: I actually agree with that point as well. Where we part is with the idea that "any actor can be made to look the part".

Some people have a very hard time packing on muscle. Unlike male actors, you can't just sneak her some muscle building drugs without some serious potential consequences. Her structure is just tall and lanky. In the scene from F&F where she walks over in her bikini to seduce fingerprints out of the bad guy, it looks like her femur is going to pop out of her hip.

I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think they are even going to be able to make her look the part, and I agree with you about her acting.
ALmazing - 12/10/2013, 1:38 PM
@BlackJack10 -From what we know Batman being a older wiser character is not cannon, that doesn't even fit the Batman in the dark knight returns, maybe older, but not wiser. He has never been a mentor to Superman either. Their conflict has always been trust vs fear.

@Godzillafart-I still think she can look the part by the time the start shooting, or at least we know they can CGI it if need it be. If she messes up acting wise, the chances for a WW franchise would be as dead as GL.
ALmazing - 12/10/2013, 3:37 PM
@BlackJack10- Well yeah. Batman is the somewhat of a wild card, the rebel, never playing by anybodies' rules but his own, and his own moral code. He is not supposed to be wiser than everyone, he is the supposed to be the smartest and also someone who relies on fear and deception. The only time I have seen him being a mentor is during the cartoon show "The brave and the bold" and that wasn't a good Batman. How is the conflict of Trust vs Fear going to translate if Batman is wiser mentoring Superman, that's nonsense. Plus wouldn't you have preferred if Superman and Batman met at their peak? I thought that what fans always wanted?
