With all the heart and humor audiences expect from Walt Disney Animation Studios, “Big Hero 6” is an action-packed comedy-adventure about robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who learns to harness his genius—thanks to his brilliant brother Tadashi and their like-minded friends: adrenaline junkie Go Go Tamago, neatnik Wasabi, chemistry whiz Honey Lemon and fanboy Fred. When a devastating turn of events catapults them into the midst of a dangerous plot unfolding in the streets of San Fransokyo, Hiro turns to his closest companion—a robot named Baymax—and transforms the group into a band of high-tech heroes determined to solve the mystery. Inspired by the Marvel comics of the same name, and featuring comic-book style action, “Big Hero 6” is directed by Don Hall (“Winnie the Pooh”) and Chris Williams (“Bolt”), and produced by Roy Conli (“Tangled”). Fredzilla isn't even a Kaiju for christsakes..

Disney Animation just wants in on the CBM/Incredibles hype.
DeusExSponge - 7/9/2014, 1:19 PM
I wish that Fredzilla would at least looks more lizard like, don't like his current design one bit!
SnapperCarr - 7/9/2014, 1:31 PM
Yeah I can't believe Disney would think that keeping Fredzilla as a giant monster wouldn't appeal to kids.

It's actually based on a real type of robot that scientists came up with. It's intended for medical purposes so it has be soft to avoid hurting people.

On a side not why are people so but hurt about this not matching the source material?

The comic version in it's entire history has two mini series and a handful of guest spots to there name. The comic must have either sucked or had no body read it or both.

They had to dumb it down for American kids. It will still be a big hit.
