Well, it looks like The Joker will make an appearance in Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of one Harley Quinn) after all.

The latest photos from the movie's set seemingly drop us in on the middle of the big break up scene, as The Clown Prince of Crime flings some of his former partner-in-crime's (Margot Robbie) belongings out the window. Despite speculation that Harley would be the one to sever ties with Mr. J after the events of Suicide Squad, it looks like it'll actually be the other way around.

Jared Leto is currently shooting Morbius, The Living Vampire in The UK, so this is almost certainly a stand-in - although the fact that his face is obscured makes it difficult to tell for certain.

@blitzburgh - I'm good with it. Looks like it could be the end of the Loker if they wish it. I'm in favor of this instead of not acknowledging him or just one line of dialogue writing him out.

The kind of mental gymnastics he can pull off to convince himself that everything DC does is good are nothing short of remarkable. hey @Battabing were you able to find that POS, SOB, scumback, Shitehead, who was trying to defend the next suicide squad by saying it is not a reboot, even though it is SUCH A SERIOUS REBOOT that they cannot even call it suicide squad 2. While at the same time defending this movie that it is not a spin off. even though it has now firmly established itself as a sequel/spin off by featuring jared's instagram gangster joker. and that retard said all that while calling captain marvel a reboot for the whole MCU, even though it is not. did you find that delusional mother effer???

@Battabing - also, are you happy that your precious DCEU has shot itself in both foots by relegating iconic characters like superman and joker to faceless cameos (supes in shazam and now this), they are literally ashamed to show the faces of these characters which are part of the modern art mythos now. all this, while batman gets rebooted, the flash gets delayed further or shelved because of it's prima donna actor, wonder woman is a stand alone and a firm reboot in the 80s, because is trevor returning with no explanation. Cyborg is quietly cancelled, green lantern is once again at a standstill. while lil pump inspired trash like this gets greenlit.

and some people still had the guts and the hypocrisy and bigotry to complaint about captain marvel for retcon, even though retcon is nothing new in the world of comics. some people are just trash, aren't they buddy? it only makes sense that trash like them will defend trach like this? I am ashamed of them.

@cptamerica - Captain Marvel's retcons were stupid and unnecessary, not just to Nick Fury, but Monica Rambeau as well.

Recasting an actor does not qualify as a retcon, and I'd prefer DC take their time over rushing into things.

So, Jai Courtney's back, Margot Robbie's back, Will would be back if not for his schedule (glad to have Idris), and Viola Davis is most likely back. You still think it's a reboot?

I've been saying that Hollywood producers and comic book fans have different definitions of the word "reboot".

You know, the movie might not try to make the most accurate iteration of these characters, but if anything you know the people working on it care about them - specifically robbie as harley. So it has that going for it.
