Summary: When Blade's mother was bitten by a vampire during pregnancy, she did not know that she gave her son a special gift while dying: All the power of a vampire while keeping the best attributes of humanity--in particular, the ability to endure sunlight. Called "The Daywalker" by his enemies, Blade grew up to be a vampire hunter, taking revenge on his mother's killers. But the vampires, led by upstart Deacon Frost decide that they will birth a superbeing themselves and try to ressurrect La Magra "The Blood God." Only he will be able to defeat Blade one on one.
