Can you imagine how wonderful breakfast had to tasted today for Marvel and Disney studio executives after taking a peek at Captain America 2's monster box office numbers from this weekend? Let's keep the good times rolling with some fantastic artwork. Below, you'll find Captain America: The Winter Soldier concept art that was created by conceptual illustrator Jamie Rama, and excerpt from his interview with Film Sketchr. Jamie, who has worked on previous comic book movies like, X-Men: First Class and The Dark Knight, tells Film Sketchr the Helicarrier hangar was a bit of a challenge to design.
Film Sketchr: Was there a part of the concept design that you remember working on the most? JR: Probably the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier ship hangar. Lots of complexity and depth happening in this set. We did a ton of versions for what this space might look like and there were a lot of people involved which often times happens with a set where there is significant visual effects set extension. My job is basically just make it look cool even on the 68th iteration.

Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy—the Winter Soldier.
