In a video interview with Total Film, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan and The Winter Soldier directors the Russo brothers discuss Joss Whedon's upcoming Avengers sequel. Be warned, there's a major Cap 2 SPOILER.

Nobody gives too much away regarding the plot of Avengers: Age Of Ultron in this video interview with Total Film, but Scarlett Johansson once again hints that the team's murky pasts will play a major factor in the story, while Chris Evans looks at her as if she's about to be silenced by studio ninjas any second. Also, the Russo brothers reveal that the only element from Captain America: The Winter Soldier that ties directly into Whedon's sequel is the "fall of S.H.I.E.L.D." Then Anthony Mackie jokingly (we assume anyway!) states that Sebastian Stan will return as Bucky "Winter Soldier" Barnes in the movie, before confirming that in fact neither of them have "gotten a call", and that "you can't have two flying Avengers. It's too much."

"Avengers: Age of Ultron" will bring the Marvel Universe's biggest heroes together again to face one of their biggest villains, with "Marvel's The Avengers" director Joss Whedon returning to write and direct the sequel."Marvel's The Avengers" was released in 2012 and went on to earn $1.5 billion worldwide, making it the third-largest grossing movie of all time. "Avengers: Age of Ultron" arrives in theaters May 1, 2015."

I definitely want to see the Russo's do some more work with Marvel outside of Captain America.

It would be cool if The Russo's directed The Defender's Netflix show.

CA: The Winter Soldier is the best CBM of all time. If you haven't seen it yet, go get your tickets - NOW!

In other news, does Mackie not know Thor can fly?
MrReese - 3/28/2014, 4:24 AM
Yeah I remember watching it on here already.

it will be interesting how the end of TWS affect's the avengers. cannot wait cap 2 was awesome, but now im worried if whedon can measure up to this cos it was incredible seeing cap in action.
ProfessorX - 3/28/2014, 4:32 AM
^Yeah, the Russos nailed Cap's super soldier abilities. I hope Whedon takes note.

Captain America the winter soldier is definitely a game changer in the MCU!!!! It was so freaking emotionally epic!! This movie is on par with Terminator 2, Star Wars Empire Strike Back, the Dark Knight!

The ending was so intense!

I am still debating which movie is better for my #1 CBM spot from MARVEL STUDIOS, either The Avengers or Captain America the winter soldier! Its clearly that Cap tws is better than the first Iron Man movie.

Cap tws is without the doubt, the best Phase 2 movie or probably THE best MARVEL movie of all time!
Doopie - 3/28/2014, 4:35 AM
the action was so sweet. really brutal at times. i like cap's ruthless side
TheVirgin - 3/28/2014, 4:36 AM
In fact, Cap TWS has an interesting story than The Avengers....Hhmmmmm....
kinghulk - 3/28/2014, 4:38 AM
Therealiststarlord- yeah im still debating that as well at the moment i got them tied for #1 spot but there can only be 1. i think i'll have to see it again before deciding for defiantly. loved every second of it and it's got me eager to find out what the russos will do with cap 3 and what will happen to rumlow.
ProfessorX - 3/28/2014, 4:40 AM
Without doubt the story and action were both better in CA:TWS than in the Avengers. The only thing which the Avengers has over it really is that wow factor of having all the characters together for the first time.
TheVirgin - 3/28/2014, 4:40 AM
I don't even know how can any other upcoming MARVEL movies top Cap TWS.. Joss Whedon, I have faith in you, mayne...
SuperCat - 3/28/2014, 4:42 AM
So Sam isn't Laurence Fishburne?

kinghulk - 3/28/2014, 4:51 AM
supercat- lol
i hope whedon can pull it off, but after this film he's got a hard job ahead of him.
MrCBM56 - 3/28/2014, 5:02 AM
Now were starting to doubt Whedon? C'mon guys.
kevberg - 3/28/2014, 5:38 AM

For those that have read the "Age of Ultron" bio, it's pretty clear to me that S.H.I.E.L.D. would need to fall so the government can design, build, and then set up this (originally) A.I. character known as Ultron. So I don't think that was such a major spoiler as depicted.
