Disney/Marvel has released 5 pictures from last summer's set visit to Captain America: The Winter Soldier showing behind-the-scenes goodness during filming. Come and see!

After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy — the Winter Soldier. Starring Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Frank Grillo, Georges St-Pierre, Hayley Atwell, Toby Jones, Emily VanCamp and Maximiliano Hernández with Samuel L. Jackson and Robert Redford, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” is directed by the team of Anthony & Joe Russo from a screenplay written by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely and is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series, first published in 1941. Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige is producing the film. Executive producers on the project include Alan Fine, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo and Stan Lee. The creative production team on the film includes director of photography Trent Opaloch, production designer Peter Wenham, editors Jeffrey Ford, A.C.E. and Mary Jo Markey, A.C.E. and three time Oscar®-nominated costume designer Judianna Makovsky. “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” is set for release on April 4, 2014.

JustDame - 1/30/2014, 8:15 AM

ezio619 - 1/30/2014, 8:15 AM

I hope the new poster being released later today will have more characters, and not just Cap. Or have his new shield on the poster.
MisterNiceGuy - 1/30/2014, 8:19 AM
"This could be Marvel's best film yet"

I feel like you guys say that for every Marvel movie.

Pasto - 1/30/2014, 8:19 AM
Cap took Black Widow in the back and had his way with her.
batz11 - 1/30/2014, 8:19 AM
@CaptAmerica65 -- don't worry, being First won't change your life in any way ;)

The Leaper...likin' the subdued look...Russo's seem to be crushin' this flick!
batz11 - 1/30/2014, 8:20 AM
Maybe Cap is actually Pym? Gettin' ready for a smack-down on Widow...
BackwardGalaxy - 1/30/2014, 8:20 AM
Even the BTS pics show us Scarlett's ass. Christmas.

Lol, that guy Cap is fighting is Batroc, I can't believe this dude is been adapted to a big screen blockbuster.

Unlike DoFP, EVERYTHING released for both Captain America: The Winter Soldier and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 looks nothing short of STELLAR. I can't wait for April/May!!

Make it mine, Marvel!!!!

Lozzy - 1/30/2014, 8:22 AM
Didn't expect Batroc to be wearing a comic accurate costume. Cool!!!!
beane2099 - 1/30/2014, 8:24 AM
How good can this movie be? You can see the boom mic and production staff in that action shot. Haw!

I'm totally not being serious.
Omarvls - 1/30/2014, 8:24 AM
See that is the Difference Between Marvel and Singer

Look at Batroc the Leaper and go and look at Quicksilver
and see why Marvel would make X-Men Epic

Too Dream
ezio619 - 1/30/2014, 8:25 AM
man, marvel really likes scarletts ass,i dont blame them
Pasto - 1/30/2014, 8:25 AM
Marvel managed to make Batroc look modern yet similar to his comic book roots. Fox made Wolverine all black with miner hints of faded blue and yellow.
ezio619 - 1/30/2014, 8:26 AM
i really was not expecting him to hae a comic accurate costume, he doesnt have the cartoony moustache which im fine with,i winder if he has the helmet maybe cap knocked it off
CaptainComicBook - 1/30/2014, 8:26 AM
The costume designs for this movie are incredible. Say what you will about the Mandarin twist or the over use of comedy in Thor: TDW, but overall the designs for the Phase II of the MCU have been stunning. All of the IM armors were beautiful, and don't get me started on how good Asgard and the Asgardians looked this time around. And here, BW and Cap look so realistically militant with still a foot in the door of being a comic book movie. I would've preferred a more flamboyant costume from Falcon, but they still did a good job executing the chose they made. I can't wait to buy the Phase II art book if they put all of it together.
ezio619 - 1/30/2014, 8:29 AM
Captaincomicbook-he is definitely more Ultimate Falcon which im fine with,i heard the designs for guardians are great too!! i liked the mandarin twist and the overuse of comedy(especially darcy) i can agree with u on that but i still enjoyed it for the most part
McNyagano - 1/30/2014, 8:30 AM
They gave him his purple costume with the two stipes dowm the middle. Honestly did not expect that. Well done Marvel, well done!!:D
AgeofApocalypse - 1/30/2014, 8:33 AM
I thought that was Batroc. Guess I was right.
Spidey10 - 1/30/2014, 8:33 AM

But they hinted at the yellow and blue
AgeofApocalypse - 1/30/2014, 8:33 AM
Batroc's uniform looks pretty good.
soforizo - 1/30/2014, 8:36 AM
I'm glad we're getting different suits, this time both the new one and the CA:FA variation look great.
Dinotron - 1/30/2014, 8:36 AM

My point exactly. The pro-singer-ites chant and chant about realism, and yet, look at this. CATWS has done both nicely. I would take Caps Avengers costume anyday of those horrible xmen black lifeless costumes.
126thst - 1/30/2014, 8:45 AM
Falcon looks awesome!
ezio619 - 1/30/2014, 8:45 AM
