Korean Version Of Cap's To-Do List In THE WINTER SOLDIER

Korean Version Of Cap's To-Do List In THE WINTER SOLDIER

You have seen the US version of Steve Rogers' "to-do list" from the Marvel sequel, then you saw the UK version. What can be on the Korean list? Hit the Jump to find out!

CAPTAIN AMERICA’S TO-DO LIST IS DIFFERENT IN OTHER COUNTRIESNot sure if this is real or fake, but as more and more countries get their advance screenings of Winter Soldier, it seems like the scene of Cap’s to-do list that was posted last week has been tweaked for different territories. Makes sense to have different cultural references for different cultures. Above is a shot from the Korean version listing Dance Dance Revolution, Oldboy, and Ji-Sung Park. The version shown in England reportedly includes The Beatles, Sean Connery, and 1966 World Cup while the Colombian version apparently listed Shakira, of all things.(via Reddit)

Here is the US one, so you can see the differences. But hey, who wouldn't pay to see Captain America try to do Dance Dance Revolution for the first time? Or watch Oldboy.... ok maybe not Oldboy but the 2002 World Cup could be cool, right..? So, what do you think? Are you all excited to see the new changes or do you not care at all. io9.com has a good article about this covering the different countries lists
"And Cap's list is different in other countries, too. According to Slashfilm: Aussies have AC/DC, Skippy the Bush Kangaroo, and Steve Irwin added to the list, while Koreans get Ji Sung Park, Dance Dance Revolution, and Oldboy. French fans see the 1998 World Cup and The Fifth Element, among other things."

Oldboy is one of the best movies in recent times! The original.. not Lee/Brolins..
Abary - 3/31/2014, 4:57 PM
I can imagine Cap playing Dance Dance Revolution lol
marvel72 - 3/31/2014, 4:58 PM

TheDuck - 3/31/2014, 5:00 PM

@ crimsondynamo99

hey if its good enough for deadpool, why not cap?

Desrow - 3/31/2014, 5:20 PM
Weird... because Dance Dance Revolution it's a japanese game. South Korea even copy this and create Pump It Up, so should be Piu instead DDR unless the list it's for Japan, ty.
TheDuck - 3/31/2014, 5:20 PM
@marvel72 yup can't argue with that
Desrow - 3/31/2014, 5:23 PM

Starcraft 2 it's pretty much dead already in South Korea... not even in the top 5 played games, LoL it's so hot right now, most played game in the world brah
SuperCat - 3/31/2014, 5:24 PM
Lol. "Oldboy." Nice.
Cles - 3/31/2014, 5:36 PM
I can't stop imagining the look on Steve's face at the end of Oldboy.
TheDuck - 3/31/2014, 5:37 PM
Because, believe it or not, this movie doesn't just air in the US, and stuff like this makes other countries happy idk its just cool to see
TheDuck - 3/31/2014, 5:38 PM
@Melkaticox I also heard that Rafa Nadal was on it but i can't find a pic of it to post
Starkasm - 3/31/2014, 5:47 PM
DDR. That is hilarious.
soforizo - 3/31/2014, 5:50 PM

Yeah, it had Chilean Miners, Octavio Paz, Shakira and I can't remember what else was different.
RexDartEskimoSpy - 3/31/2014, 6:07 PM
Cuz Captain America gives a crap about the World Cup... Stupid pandering.
soforizo - 3/31/2014, 7:53 PM

I also wish I had paid more attention. What really threw me off was that the To-Do list in the 10min Spanish clip was the same as the English release, so I wasn't expecting it to be different. Once I caught on, I didn't have a whole lot to catch everything on it. (Though I probably wouldn't remember everything either way.)
soforizo - 3/31/2014, 7:56 PM

I can only speak for the Spanish version and it is different. So why couldn't Koreans have their own list as well?
KeefNCookies - 3/31/2014, 8:17 PM
Oldboy FTW
LexHairFight - 3/31/2014, 8:21 PM
I love the idea of different lists. It's pretty clever and shows effort.
MsDarkPhoenix - 4/1/2014, 4:36 AM
I'd pay to see Cap's reaction after he sees Oldboy :P
arsonjack - 4/1/2014, 5:57 AM
cap should see korea's oldest boy group SHINHWA
DukeAcureds - 4/1/2014, 11:04 AM
Seriously, what's with Thai Food?
I mean recommend it to an alien, perhaps, but a WWII soldier? They've never heard of Thai food? It's not that new, y'know. I'm pretty sure they had Thai food back in Cap's day.
ParisSun - 4/1/2014, 7:52 PM

That would depend on what theater of war you were in. If you were in Europe as opposed to the Pacific, I would suspect that you wouldn't get much Thai food. Even in the Pacific, I doubt many soldiers ate much Thai food.

Aussie List had
Tim Tams
Steve Irwin
Quite funny
