Low-Res Look At <strike>Stark</strike> Avengers Tower In CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER

As you may know, Avengers (formerly, Stark) Tower has a brief cameo in the new Captain America movie. Hit the jump to see a low-res image of the team's renovated headquarters which has found its way online.

"Avengers Tower, formerly known as Stark Tower, is a high-rise building complex located in Manhattan, New York City, owned and constructed by Tony Stark. The tower is powered by an Arc Reactor that makes it capable of running itself for over a year. The top ten floors are all devoted to research and development." - MCU wikia

For comparison, this is how it looked at the end of The Avengers (after sustaining some considerable damage during the Battle of New York):

Avengers Tower, which will likely function as The Avengers' primary headquarters from now on, will next be seen on-screen in the 2015 Marvel blockbuster Avengers: Age of Ultron.

this was cool but my favourite nod was the one that's not Marvel related...it's the one that's actor related. can't say any more without spoiling but if you've seen the film hopefully you get what i'm talking about
MrSotoMan - 3/31/2014, 7:09 AM
FINALLY! That was the part I needed to see again and pause. Someone said another HYDRA agent was there, but I didn't believe it. Now it's confirmed I was right.
KarolosPrime - 3/31/2014, 7:10 AM

HavocPrime - 3/31/2014, 7:13 AM
Would love to see that entire list they are targeting as there will be hundreds of Easter eggs listed within.
dopemaster - 3/31/2014, 7:16 AM
I can't make out those faces- who are they supposed to be??
McNyagano - 3/31/2014, 7:18 AM
This part went by so fast. If you blinked, you missed it. The tower loos awesome though.
Dinotron - 3/31/2014, 7:20 AM

McNyagano - 3/31/2014, 7:22 AM

I could be seeing TWS in two hours but I won't. Because I'm stupid. Now I have to wait until Saturday. I hate my life. I also hate the people who have seen this movie. I'm sure that they are good people but I hate them. Because reasons.

Doopie - 3/31/2014, 8:07 AM

i have seen it, don't hate me! sorry, but think how satisfying it will be when you finally watch it. here's a clue: it will be very satisfying as it is awesome
MsDarkPhoenix - 3/31/2014, 8:20 AM
@Doopie It'll be even more satisfying if there is a Greek version of that list that says 'Your democracy is Greek'. And then Wonder Woman shows up and punches him in the face!! Haha ok probably not :P

@Sid I know poor little sloth!! But Captain 'Murica is too cool for the Canadian sloths!!!
NovaCorpsFan - 3/31/2014, 9:17 AM

There was a Korvac easter egg in this scanning scene as well. And by Easter egg, I mean a specific person is tagged as Michael Korvac.
Owlman88 - 3/31/2014, 9:21 AM
is nobody going to mention the glorious reference to this guy?:

NovaCorpsFan - 3/31/2014, 9:31 AM
Yeah, Sitwell blurting his name out, lol.
TheManFromMars - 3/31/2014, 9:53 AM

If it's what I think they're referring to, then no. It has nothing to do with the directors. It has to do with a movie Sam Jackson did.

BTW, I havern't seen this movie (it will only debut April 10th here in Brazil) I just have spoiled myself rotten on the internet. (No regrets)
Destined - 3/31/2014, 9:57 AM
Cool, I'll be looking it for it when I watch Friday.
AstonishingArachnid - 3/31/2014, 10:14 AM
For those who have seen TWS why did Sitwell mention a highschool valedictorian in Iowa City? Does it have something to do with a character from the comics?
Maestro - 3/31/2014, 10:44 AM
Man I feel so honored to be able to witness such awesomeness in my lifetime.
Missy - 3/31/2014, 11:22 AM

Yeah, I live in Brazil too. Spoiled myself too much xD
Isra - 3/31/2014, 11:32 AM

THORION76 - 3/31/2014, 3:16 PM

spidey1994 - 3/31/2014, 3:37 PM
I missed that while watching it and I almost shit myself when I heard "Stephen Strange"!
TheePeterParker - 3/31/2014, 4:23 PM
Yeah that snippet of the "Avengers tower" went by in a second, but was pretty easy to see...
WereAllThieves - 4/4/2014, 12:38 AM
@AstonishingArachnid The only marvel character who I can think of that could possibly be the high school valedictorian is Ethan Edwards. Seeing that he is a skrull, it could be hinting at a skrull invasion story line.
usafcapG - 4/4/2014, 6:36 AM
During this scene, there was a quick glimpse at Michael Korvac also. You can see a little girl in pink dress running away from a man, comment window above him read "Michael Korvac"
Retrodaniel - 4/4/2014, 3:48 PM
Is it possible that the highschool valedictorian can be nova? He is apart of the Guardians of the Galaxy
