New CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER Stills Feature Chris Evans and Samuel L. Jackson

Revealing a first good look at the Marvel sequel, two new stills from Captain America: The Winter Soldier have been released featuring Steve Rogers in a crowded elevator and beside Nick Fury!

Following today's brand new poster and ahead of Thursday's official trailer debut, USA Today has an exclusive look at Marvel's Captain America: The Winter Soldier - two new stills of Chris Evans and Samuel L. Jackson, plus new info from the Nick Fury actor and the Russo bros. "There's nobody better at that kind of [action] than Marvel if you're going to attempt to pull that off and go for it," Joe Russo says. "We all tried to up the ante with what happens in this movie in terms of what's come before, and I think we've done that." On the Winter Soldier, Anthony Russo says, "He's an amazingly drawn character. He's so well conceived. [Ed Brubaker has] one of the best comic runs in the last 20 years, one of our favorite comic runs of all time & we really want to do it justice. It was important to us to make sure he just jumped off the page to the screen."

"Some of the people who used to be our enemies are now our allies," Samuel L. Jackson says. The new film has Captain America "trying to figure out, 'Well, how do we trust those guys?' or 'How do we trust the guys that you didn't trust who don't trust you?' And explaining to him that the black and white of good guys/bad guys has now turned into this gray area."

After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy — the Winter Soldier. Starring Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Frank Grillo, Georges St-Pierre, Hayley Atwell, Toby Jones, Emily VanCamp and Maximiliano Hernández with Samuel L. Jackson and Robert Redford, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” is directed by the team of Anthony & Joe Russo from a screenplay written by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely and is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series, first published in 1941. Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige is producing the film. Executive producers on the project include Alan Fine, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo and Stan Lee. The creative production team on the film includes director of photography Trent Opaloch, production designer Peter Wenham, editors Jeffrey Ford, A.C.E. and Mary Jo Markey, A.C.E. and three time Oscar®-nominated costume designer Judianna Makovsky. “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” is set for release on April 4, 2014.

Great find as always bro! Your are like on a roll here with the Marvel news recently! ;)

Can't wait for The Winter Soldier! Cap looks great in the new uniform too!
Ramiel - 10/22/2013, 9:35 PM
I wonder if this movie will have the humor be too much like it was in IM3 and what the reviews have said so far for Thor: TDW.
EdgyOutsider - 10/22/2013, 9:37 PM
I'm digging the new uniform. Prefer the good 'ol red white and blue though. I have an amazing feeling that this (my most anticipated solo movie, sequel to my favorite solo movie) will be the best solo of Phase Two. This is really starting to look like (in a way) The Bourne trilogy meets The Dark Knight trilogy. Just with the Marvel stamp and it just looks fantastic. Can't wait for an official still of Falcon and The Winter Solider. Trailer comes out soon, can't wait!!! Shit is going to be epic!
Moohika - 10/22/2013, 9:38 PM
His suit in the first picture looks Dark Knight-ish. Still pretty cool though
AgentZero - 10/22/2013, 9:40 PM

TheRationalNerd - 10/22/2013, 9:55 PM

Bro I sure hope not! Black Widow in Avengers was nothing like the Widow in Iron Man 2. Even the slight accent was gone. I just want a serious Marvel movie like how Iron Man, Incredible Hulk and Captain America I'm getting tired of all this comedy BS. It's cook to have humor to lighten tense moments but when it gets to the point where the conflict in the film is severely watered down with humorous elements you can't even take the film seriously anymore. Avengers wasn't as serious as it should've been to me. Yeah there were people in danger and etc but the team handled it so lightly you didn't even feel like the threat was real the way they were making side jokes/comments.

I'm really looking forward to Cap 2 and A:AOU to deliver that serious tone we've all been looking for.
TruePunishment - 10/22/2013, 9:56 PM
Can't wait for this to come out!
Zarog - 10/22/2013, 9:56 PM

ALegendaryPanda - 10/22/2013, 10:03 PM

It does look slightly similar but it's not that big of a deal, just calm the f*** down. Damn
DioFoRio - 10/22/2013, 10:05 PM
lol patrat ..seriously. In every article. It's like he's been sucking on lemon dropped dicks in every thread. lol typing with one hand as he applies his black lipstick, eyeliner and mascara. lol
titansupes - 10/22/2013, 10:06 PM
You'd have to be blind (fanboy style) not to see the obvious TDK/R similarities here.

Looks great. Looking forward to seeing the more traditional Cap suit again, though (as long as it's not the garbage he was saddled with in Avengers).
DioFoRio - 10/22/2013, 10:06 PM
I think the suit looks good but I can't wait to see him don the old one if the rumours are true like NomNom said.
BrowniesExplode - 10/22/2013, 10:07 PM
@TheBlackNerd i agree. Also can someone explain why everybody is having costume changes. I mean iron man changes his suits fora reason. Thor doesn't have to neither does Cap unless they explain why. Also when does this film take place and will hawkeye cameo. And marvel give the hulk a squeal he's the only one who didn't get one in phase 2
titansupes - 10/22/2013, 10:07 PM
CONTINUED: It's not THE SAME. But it's there.
3DWitchHunt - 10/22/2013, 10:09 PM
You bitch constantly about the comments on here
I got an easily solution for you:
Dont read them, or comment
BIGBMH - 10/22/2013, 10:10 PM
The suit looks great! Hyped for this teaser!

Chill out, MarvelPsycho79. It's not like anyone called it a ripoff. There's a similar aesthetic which makes sense since they're both supposed to be advanced, modern combat suits. Cover up Steve from the chest up in the first pic and just look at the abdominal section. It's somewhat similar in design style to the TDK suit. Take away the straps and replace the star and stripes with a bird and I could easily imagine the Nightwing of the Nolanverse wearing this suit.
patrat18 - 10/22/2013, 10:11 PM
DioFoRio- Exactly. Like seriously everybody here is chilled but you.
ALegendaryPanda - 10/22/2013, 10:11 PM

Dude, breathe.
ZombieBue - 10/22/2013, 10:14 PM
Beautiful.....applause, of the few things I like from the ultimate editions is that suit...Loved the first one very much my most anticipated Marvel flick other than Guardians of the Galaxy...Bravo...
MarkV - 10/22/2013, 10:14 PM
nothing like the Bale chicken neck suit
ALmazing - 10/22/2013, 10:14 PM
"Before we get started... does anyone want to get out?" Can't wait for the teaser.
MarkV - 10/22/2013, 10:15 PM
It looks tactical
Poolio - 10/22/2013, 10:16 PM

Don't get your panties in a bunch, if you slap a bat symbol on the suit in that first picture are you really going to tell me it doesn't look like a Nolan Batsuit?
patrat18 - 10/22/2013, 10:19 PM

Mrsinister - 10/22/2013, 10:22 PM
Looks so good!! I hope it's not silly like iron man 3
Cartoon22 - 10/22/2013, 10:24 PM
hell yeah!!!! this costume looks awesome without that new ears exposed helmet. (Best helmet is the first avenger helmet **Marvel needs to use that mold if they use a helmet)
MightyZeus - 10/22/2013, 10:25 PM
I love the suit
ahhmynuts - 10/22/2013, 10:25 PM
