Bridging the gab between Captain America #25 and "Avengers NOW!" relaunch All-New Captain America #1, the All-New Captain America: Fear Him series will launch digitally, and we have artwork and details for you right. Oh, and yes, Falcon-Cap WILL be keeping his wings...

Bucky's time as Captain America was received so positively that many fans didn't actually want Steve Rogers to return, but whether that will also be the case for Sam Wilson's tenure as the patriotic hero remains to be seen. A lot of fans have questioned the design of his new mask, but the reasons for that have become clear thanks to this first look at Dennis Hopeless and Szymon Kudranski's All-New Captain America: Fear Him infinite digital comic book. In it, we see Sam taking flight as the new Cap, and the six-part series will launch all in one go this October.

I don't mind Sam as Cpt. America, it can be fun and new, but i'm not really digging the costume. Plus he really needs a helmet, what if he lands on his head?
TheBuoyWonder - 7/25/2014, 5:35 AM
So he's basically still falcon but with cap's sheild?
mikesinuman - 7/25/2014, 5:45 AM
so how do you call him now? Falcon-Cap?
Sumitsjc - 7/25/2014, 5:47 AM
scapegoatjones - 7/25/2014, 5:48 AM
they should've just changed Falcon's name to Bald Eagle and made him fire arrows.
this seems like the most temporary thing ever. both Frank Castle and Luke Cage would've
been more interesting choices for a new Cap. Actually save Frank. Have him hijack the war-machine
suit and paint a white skull on it.

"Flying Cap America" sounds like an idea from someone high as hell/.
Doopie - 7/25/2014, 5:50 AM
Falcap needs a redesigned costume
Greengo - 7/25/2014, 5:53 AM
I like it.

I'm shocked too.
NinjaKickTheDamnRabbit - 7/25/2014, 5:54 AM
Captain Falcon is the lamest redesign in a long, long time. As bad as Wolverine or the new movie TMNT.

osideous - 7/25/2014, 6:01 AM

Doopie - 7/25/2014, 6:02 AM
Faptain Americon should be Pasto's name
KaneRomita - 7/25/2014, 6:08 AM

Im black and hate political correctness

This isn't even as cool as mackie was in 2

I have always hated the falcon ( the movie being the exception)

And remember that monster or goblin Thor they had last time they tried getting rid of Thor

Listen this ' ll fall flat unless all the unthinking white miles Morales fan s keep cap dead

We african Americans who buy comics really don't care if the superhero has an afro

Its about the best story
TheRealSupaMan - 7/25/2014, 6:24 AM
Need color so I can make a Custom Figure of this guy! I actually like the look.

Enphlieuwince - 7/25/2014, 6:27 AM
It's Falcon America
CaptShipwreck - 7/25/2014, 6:28 AM
I bet the arc ends up being really fun
feedonatreefrog - 7/25/2014, 6:29 AM
So when Winter Soldier becomes Cap, it's all good.

But if Falcon becomes Cap, it's a politically correct gimmick?
Gentfx - 7/25/2014, 6:30 AM
What if we call him "Blap"? You know, Black-Cap?
DeathAdder - 7/25/2014, 6:33 AM
Blacktain America.
InfiniteMonkey - 7/25/2014, 6:34 AM
Can't wait to start reading this.
Looks fun and out of the ordinary; five year olds notwithstanding.
campblood - 7/25/2014, 6:35 AM
lame. that costume is ugly as sin
campblood - 7/25/2014, 6:37 AM
I mean maybe if he had a better costume I would warm up to it a little
RobertLiefeld - 7/25/2014, 6:40 AM
I get so sick of the trolls (i.e. anyone who disagrees with me)...

YOU tell these kids that they can't have a MAINLINE, TRADITIONAL hero who looks like them.

Way to go.

When kids play, they don't say, "...Ok, you're Spiderman, you're Falcon, so who can I be who is a minotry.....Blue MArvel?!? Yes!!" They want to be Batman, Iron Man, and Captain America. To rant because they now have a Captain America proper who validates their color is missing the mark.

And please don't compare race to homo stuff. Two totally different worlds.

I remember playing Star Wars as an elementary schooler. My friends be like "Hmmm....I'm Obi-Wan cause I have brown hair, your Yoda cause your short, and [my name] your Mace Windu!!!" I hated [frick]ing Mace Windu!!!!
Spideyinthemcu - 7/25/2014, 6:52 AM
The wings make it look dumb. Pick one, is he still falcon or captain america
ALmazing - 7/25/2014, 6:57 AM
Thats actually pretty cool, and yes, this makes it worth it :)

grif - 7/25/2014, 6:59 AM
mcu falcon is a better character than mcu thor.
TheGreenBastard - 7/25/2014, 7:00 AM
I don't him as Cap, any villian going to think he's Cap? More like "Hey, why the hell is Falcon dressed like Cap?".
campblood - 7/25/2014, 7:03 AM
not against falcon cap, I'm against that shitty costume he's wearing
DocH - 7/25/2014, 7:18 AM
I'm ok with the idea that hes now cap and can fly and everything it could work well you never know but I hope to god he gets a costume redesign relatively soon like in superior spider-man
xMichaelxScottx - 7/25/2014, 7:21 AM
All I'm gonna say is I'm cool with it. If it is a "political correctness" thing then why wouldn't you choose someone else who might actually be able to take his spot. Someone mentioned Luke Cage. Also why would they think this helps? (Not that I'm against it because I'm not) There are already plenty of cool African American superheroes.Miles Morales, (Normal) Falcon, Black Panther, War Machine, Luke Cage, Storm, Blade, Deathlok, Bishop, and many more. Why not utilize one of them and push them out to the front. Storm just got her own series. My point is is that if this was a "political correctness" they probably wouldve done something a bit different. I'm okay with Sam as Cap. He was caps partner for a while. But does he really fit as Cap. I'd rather read about Luke Cage being Cap and watch him have to go through challenges of adjusting to what America thinks he should be as Cap. He can't just senslessly beat someone on live tv. He has to do just enough to apprehend them. He can't swear all the time. He has to watch his mouth. He'll have to go through everybody hating him because he is not there ideal replacement for Steve Rogers. No matter if it was political correctness or not Luke Cage could've made for a great Cap.
