Marvel Studios has just released a brand new television spot for their upcoming blockbuster Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The film stars Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson.

“Captain America: The Winter Soldier” will pick-up where “Marvel’s The Avengers” left off, as Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and teams up with Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, to battle a powerful yet shadowy enemy in present-day Washington, D.C.

Based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series, first published in 1941, Marvel’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” features an outstanding supporting cast that includes Sebastian Stan (“Captain America: The First Avenger,” “Black Swan”) as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, Anthony Mackie (“The Hurt Locker,” “Million Dollar Baby”) as Sam Wilson/Falcon, Cobie Smulders (“Marvel’s The Avengers,” “How I Met Your Mother”) as Agent Maria Hill, Frank Grillo (“Zero Dark Thirty”) as Brock Rumlow and Georges St-Pierre (“Death Warrior”) as Georges Batroc. Rounding out the talented cast are Hayley Atwell (“Captain America: The First Avenger”) as Peggy Carter, Toby Jones (“Captain America: The First Avenger,” “The Hunger Games”) as Arnim Zola, Emily VanCamp (“The Ring 2,” “Revenge”) as Agent 13 and Maximiliano Hernández (“Marvel’s The Avengers,” “Thor”) as Agent Jasper Sitwell.

I don't care what the [frick] you are doing right now. I don't care where you are or who you are or what excuses you think you have. Go watch this movie. Go do it!
TimL - 3/29/2014, 10:50 AM
Watched this one on wednesday. Was pretty good, no real Cpt. America fan so I'm not too overhyped seeing it. It had better pacing than the first one though and the credits scene connects to the Avengers sequel.

The 3D effects were subpar in this one though, the fast paced fights were way too blurry and you could barely make out most moves. They really dropped the ball in that department.

But overall, was a pretty good movie, possibly the best Marvel movie yet (as it wasn't really making fun of itself unlike 99% of the other Marvel flicks). I hope they keep that tone for future Marvel titles, it really suits the universe (a more serious, less fun tone. Not as serious as the Nolanverse though).

It's 'bout to get REAL!!!!!

Omarvls - 3/29/2014, 10:50 AM
Best Superhero movie of ALL TIME

kylo0607 - 3/29/2014, 10:52 AM
Watched it twice already. The movie is indeed amazing. Probably the best MCU solo film.
ComicsBornAndBred - 3/29/2014, 10:52 AM
One more week until...Pure joy of epic proportions. You don't fear greatness Cap 2, you welcome it. Your praise must be more severe.

MrCBM56 - 3/29/2014, 10:54 AM

"Who the hell is Bucky?"

OH MY GOD I can't wait to hear that!
spidey1994 - 3/29/2014, 10:56 AM
Saw it today, it's best Marvel Studios movie since The Avengers and I almost shit myself when I heard a certain character with ties in magic got mentioned, that was awesome! I won't spoil who it was but damn it was great! :D
spidey1994 - 3/29/2014, 10:57 AM
Oh and the Cap and Peggy reunion was heartbreaking. Beautifully done.
charlie2094 - 3/29/2014, 10:59 AM

Going to take a wild guess at Dr Strange? Only one that makes sense, he's coming next :P

Looking forward to this! The Green Lantern trailer music threw me off a little, but looks great :P

Friends back in the UK have said it was great, super excited to see it! Really think it'll rank above Avengers and IM1 as Marvels best film, probably below TDK

One week to go man I can't wait
AstonishingArachnid - 3/29/2014, 11:06 AM
I've now seen the winter Soldier three times and it never gets old. Character development is top notch. The best fight scenes in any CBM. A phenomenal soundtrack and lots of moments which will make fans rejoice. The Winter Soldier gets a 10/10 from me and in some respects surpasses all CBMS that came before it. P.S. the Winter Soldiers theme is freakin epic.
DarthMauve - 3/29/2014, 11:06 AM
Saw Cap 2 last night. Excellent movie, you could remove all the superhero elements and it would still stand up as a great action/thriller adventure. With the Super Soldier added in it just becomes sweeter.

And so many easter eggs. Too delicious...
SuperCat - 3/29/2014, 11:08 AM
I'm sneaking candy into the theater when I see this Saturday. F*ck you, movie concession stand!!!
CoolantTech72 - 3/29/2014, 11:10 AM
one thing I gotta ask guys, how does cap get his shield back after Winter Soldier obtains it?.. no Spoilers
CapA - 3/29/2014, 11:15 AM
The Winter Soldier throws the shield back at Steve.
CapA - 3/29/2014, 11:19 AM
Saw the film on Thursday, it was really good and serious. The people whining about the humor in Marvel movies will have to find other imaginary flaws on that one. Not as good as The Avengers, but a close second (tie with Iron Man). The action was intense !
ProfessorX - 3/29/2014, 11:19 AM
CA: TWS = flawless masterpiece. 10/10

Gary8264 - 3/29/2014, 11:22 AM
It's down to single digits now, gettin' closer everyday.
@Starfox, I doubt Widow whoops WS's ass, probably just the cuttin' of the trailer. I'm thinkin' it's gonna be more of a "Widow meets Hulk" moment. She's tough, but I thin' WS is gonna be on a whole other level like Cap is.
ProfessorX - 3/29/2014, 11:22 AM
The only thing Avengers has over CA: TWS is the "wow factor" of having all the heroes together. Action and plot are far superior in this film.
CapA - 3/29/2014, 11:23 AM
And I loved the Community cameo ! ^^
CapA - 3/29/2014, 11:24 AM
I agree with Professor X. The pacing was also better.
Bekss - 3/29/2014, 11:25 AM
I really want all of you to see it so we can talk about it without worry about spoilers.
It was amazing
TimL - 3/29/2014, 11:30 AM
Widow does not whoop WSs ass, watch the movie and you'll see.
TheVirgin - 3/29/2014, 11:30 AM
CoolantTech72 - 3/29/2014, 11:36 AM
no the other part went Bucky put the shield on after getting it out of the ground
marvel72 - 3/29/2014, 11:38 AM
a warning to all our american friends that haven't seen it yet, make sure you pick up your jaw when you leave the theatre.

TimL - 3/29/2014, 11:38 AM
@CoolantTech72 I think he threw it at Cap later on in that scene too.
Jwe75 - 3/29/2014, 11:49 AM
This movie was so great! First time i've been shocked for days since Avengers came out ;)
