Something is off about SLJ's head. Maybe it's just at an odd angle or something.

@erickrivers - Magazine covers (and merchandise) are often unflattering and odd-looking. Which is strange, considering how much money these movies spend trying to market themselves.

Ultimately, I care a lot more about the movies themselves, so it's not a big deal, but I guess the idea is that the average consumer will look at a poster or magazine cover for less then ten seconds, so it doesn't matter if the proportions are off, as long as it advertises the product. And having designers hammer out five wonky designs rather than one great one means the consumer gets 50 seconds of exposure vs. 10. While that may be an effective allocation of resources, it's not satisfying to people like me who will stare at a piece of promotion for all of the details, or may even use it as reference in a painting of my own.

@erickrivers - Its only off to me because IMO they should have CGI'd it more. There were dots on his head there in the set photos, but they barely did anything with it.

I am liking the Skrull design. Just wish they had the cap.

@Evansly - Yes, that's literally all the design needs. It grates me. I know it shouldn't, but it does lol

@Evansly - I think they put the caps on them in the comics to make them easier to draw. No hair, not bald.

"Too intense for younger viewers"! Interesting. That's not an entirely new thing in the MCU, but fair warning's fair warning.

@Lem1 - It's not like they are repo men.

@Lem1 - I'd imagine younger viewers might find her punchy granny to be a little heavy for their fragile minds lol

Wow, someone in the promotional team took the "She doesn't smile enough" comments to heart.

@RageDriver2401 - It's what majority of the complaints up here were about when the trailer first dropped, so they just gave the people what they want.

I... I think maybe Carol Corps is coming. Like, in full force, in gen-pop.

I don't know if that girl is Monica or not, but she would be a convincing young Sonequa Martin-Green, and now I'm just thinking about Martin-Green for a grown-up Monica...

...And I kind of love it.

Looks good to me. Those first two trailers were wack, but the TV spots after it have been intriguing.

Could this be the first Marvel "flop?" Marketing for this one has been pretty crappy in my opinion. So-so trailers and some really boring posters. If this does Antman or Dr. Strange numbers would that be considered a flop?
