Further on, in a Tumblr post detailing her opinions on the matter, she also further confirmed that this is a business related trip, and not one for pleasure.
Rather fortuitously, I’m down in California on Marvel-related business at the moment, so I had the opportunity to talk all of this over in depth with a bunch of people who have been at the company a long time, and whose opinions I value. But after we talked, I found myself with more questions than answers. Can we separate a CEO from the company he runs, or the company from the creators, or the creators from the art? Should we?
Now, Marvel's only offices in Burbank and California are it's L.A. branch, home to Marvel Studios and Marvel Television. If she's on a business trip there, it's well within reason to assume it's with one of those companies. One might think she's there to supervise Kamala Khan's appearance in Marvel's animated Avengers series, but since those are produced, written, and acted out long before the show comes out, it's highly unlikely she made a business trip across the country to meet up on a series that's about to come out. Could this be the big clue that points to Kamala Khan joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe? I certainly hope so!
